Does anyone take this supplement and how much do you take? I've read a lot of good things about it but also that it needs to be used carefully. I'd like to get others experiences.

No need to bump the thread.
When anyone logs on, the threads with unread messages are marked so they know. ;)

Jasmin,
DHEA is a hormone. The amount you take depends on the existing DHEA levels in your blood. It's complicated and it's usually recommended that you approach this kind of supplementation with the help of a doctor.

I'm giving you a link on the subject, but strongly recommend that you have the blood testing done and see a doctor before you start adding DHEA. Depending on your age, you may not even need it.

Good luck.

I take a DHA supplement. Is that what you are referring to?

Monica

Probably not. DHA is a fatty acid. DHEA is a hormone. The body produces less and less DHEA as we age, which is why some people supplement. However, you do have to measure your levels and be careful not to take too much.
