Good morning ladies...

Today I am starting the last week of Meso 3. Today will be Disc 34 chest and back. Next week will be recovery week and then I will do probably circuits and cardio until after Christmas...

Ok, be back later...gotta get the kids going this morning!
 
Good morning ladies! Happy Monday....... our internet is crawling this morning, barely that even, so I wouldn't be surprised if I have a double post with Chris. How's your head, and how was work, by the way? All good, I hope!

Kathy, last week -- wow! But I know that of course, because I'm finally coming to the end of all my written in STS days on the calendar when I was going to start with you! :) Are you looking forward to a change of pace?

Today was my rest day, so I did Ellen's Fat Burning Fusion -- I think that was the first time. I bought a bunch of sort of "easy" stuff when my shoulder was injured, feeling sorry for myself, I guess, and there's still some I haven't gotten to. :eek: I liked it. Don't know about her voice, Hottie......

Well, last week of school until a nice little break.... we're all looking forward to that! Hope everyone has a nice day.
 
Hey Beth: Yes, I am ready for a change. I am probably going to follow Cathe's January rotation. I hope that it is full body workouts instead of parts. I would like to do some of those type next month. I am also looking forward to trying the new cardio workouts when they come out...
 
Hey Girls!!

Getting ready to start Week #2 of MESO 3. ....I did ok at work last night, one bout of "I think I'm gong to puke", but it went away. My head isn't exactly right now, little headache and a little queasy, but off I go!!!

That was tough! Heavy tough stuff... I actually ended up getting a boo boo. Doing my second round of incline chest flies, trying to lift the 31 lb dumbbells, my forearms couldn't do it, and they kind of flopped. One hit my pubic area :eek: Good thing I'm not a guy! LOL!. It HURT though! Went down to 26 #s.

My head actually feels better after the workout , and my tummy! :)

Kathy: How did your lifting go today? I was thinking of seeing what Cathe has to offer for the Jan rotation. I'm almost thinking it will include Shock Cardio? That would be TOO COOL! But I'm definitely going to incorporate that into January's workouts. ... hey, question for you. Are you "supposed to" take a recovery week after Meso 3? Or is it ok to move on with other workouts?

Beth: Hope your internet gets a good kick in the butt! Oh, what is "fusion"? Pilates/Yoga stuff? ... Omg, don't be dropping bombs like "this is the kids' last week of school before break!". I'm not ready!!! LOL!!!

Hey Chris: I did great with the weights today...I probably could have gone a little bit heavier with bench presses. But, I more then made up for it with flys. They are tough for me! Ouch on that accident with the weights...I used 25s today. I did I think 26 or so on my 3rd week.. Yes, Cathe has a recovery week listed at the end of meso 3. So, I am going to do it with cardio...I am hoping it will be shock cardio stuff. But, I don't think it will be here by then..
 
Chris! Be careful! It was a meso 3 chest press that screwed me up! I hope you are ok.

Sorry for the bomb about winter break! I know! I am so unready for Christmas -- it's pathetic! I did a Target run today for some things, so I'm a little better off, but we still have not a single decoration up..... sigh......

I saw on a thread that someone asked Cathe if the Dec. rotation would have any shock cardio stuff, since theoretically we would get delivery in Dec. (is anyone starting to wonder if that'll really happen?!), and Cathe's answer was that she wanted to wait to make sure everyone had it first. "Everyone" -- of course -- not really *everyone*, obviously. I would think the January rotation would have it in there. I looked at the dvds that are coming out again and I did have to wonder why I wanted them. All that MMA -- we'll see!!!

Yes, the fusion thing is theoretically a fusion of pilates/yoga/etc. but to me it was sort of like none of them in a way -- but I liked it.

I just picked up the mail and Lalo was there waiting for me. Actually, Mary screwed up and sent me doubles of things she already sent, so I'll be sending dvds back to her! Crazy. That's the first time I've ever heard about her screwing up anything though, and it was not such a bad way to screw up except that if I weren't an honest person she could go out of business making those kinds of mistakes....
