Ha! Of course I'm going to read them because :

out:: I'm going back to work in a couple minutes. Sometimes I really detest my experiments. I honestly think I did nothing wrong but its just wants to screw with my schedule and knows damn well that I want at least interpertable results that would force me to come back in the evening. I didn't mind this kind of stuff when it only took a walk to get to lab but since SC is in the ghetto (its really not that safe an area), I have to hop onto the freeway because I want to live in a safe place. Oh well!
Joanne -- I should have corrected this earlier, I didn't actually take the antibiotics. I'm very much against taking antibiotics if its unnecessary and since I started feeling better today I figured 1) I was right, and/or 2) I'm healing on my own regardless. I just did HIS right now and I FINALLY had the "right kind" of sweat if that makes any sense. I felt like I couldn't flush out my water through sweat all week and finally it kicked tonight. So I feel better. Even if I have to go to the evil place (read: lab).
The wallpaper thing is funny though (I guess after you've put all the work in). My sister's first house was this beautiful home in Pasadena. When she moved in, we realized the previous owner was insane (like he was trying to I guess lock his wife in so every window was barred). We took out all the bars and it looked better instantly. Makes sense right? Well, then we lifted his ugly carpet. Underneath? Gorgeous hand-sanded hardwood floors. My favorite one is this -- she had this fireplace in the living room (and now because Joe will hurt me if I don't mention this: why you need a fireplace in LA I don't know) and the previous owner painted over these tiles with this puke green color. You could feel a pattern underneath so my sister tried to remove the paint first to see what it was. The paint came off clean and underneath -- beautiful handcrafted tiles all up the fireplace. Each of those small tiles were then appraised to something like $200/tile.
So, I guess I'm saying, after you're done removing all the crap, I hope you find gorgeous handmade tiles in your bathroom! LOL!
Beth -- I hope you're having a wonderful night with Larry...but I understand the sentiment. I don't really need Joe if I have good enough sushi in front of me either!! I hope the drive won't be too bad tomorrow. And I hope I can workout before we get in the car. I kept on grumbling about how that high speed light rail was going to finally exist the year I moved on CA. Oh well. But I'm hoping we may have more trips to SF...Joe is going to the SF office on Monday so if it ends up being fruitful there may be more trips.
Chris -- WOHOO for getting the clinicals done! Cats are pretty funny and mischievous. My sister's one cat would just pee on anything if she was, well, pissed and the other cat used to like to sleep on my face so I would wake up feeling like someone was smothering me. That's cool that your tree is decorated! My DH and my BIL think my sister and I are weird because we're very picky about how to decorate the trees...I guess we get very Martha Stewarty and decide on
themes and
accent colors, etc. They both are like, you take big, clunky ornaments and you stick it whereever you want. My favorite theme is Victorian era but a couple years ago I went with a more modern mosaic like theme and it worked out pretty nice. Ok, now you probably think I'm weird too like the men! Ah...
Okay, packing up to go to the evil place...
