<-- had detention in math one day because <-- and 3 classmates kept asking the teacher "what's a vector" maybe 100 times during the class }(
<-- says it took <-- several YEARS to figure out an answer the geometry teacher could have said to explain it
<-- wishes that teacher had said "it's like drawing a car on paper; how fast it's going and in what direction"
<-- could have really used that description to explain another unfathomable; why do cars seem to go one speed, but seem to go twice as fast when you're driving the opposite direction and seem to not go anywhere when you pass them

<-- really did think that was the most fun geometry class ever; even the teacher was laughing with us and she explained at detention that she had to make us come so she didn't look like a pushover

<---is going outside now as DS have informed me the bird's nest in the canoe which is hanging upside down stored under the deck has baby birdies in it:7

<---says the birdies are there but the nest is in the nose (?) of the canoe and it's really dark and it is an enclosed nest with one little hole and you have to shine a flashlight on it and every now and then a little pink object is slightly seen when it moves
