Damages last night

Who watched it last night? I am a bit confused on who actually sent the grenades. Did the first one come from Frobisher and the second the son? Or did they both come from the son? And who were those guys that took the kid? Were they FBI? Was he arrested? It's so scary how Patty can be just as friendly and nice to Ellen one minute and then so evil behind her back.

What are you guys' thoughts.

Kim

The son sent both of the grenades.
The guys who took the son were deprogrammers, hired by Patty. Son needs major intervention to get on the right track. (The deprogrammer guy who had Patty sign the contract said the first thing they do it control through fear, thus the 'kidnapping' scenario).

Thanks. At first I thought she'd set that up but then I thought No, she wouldn't do that to her own son.

>No, she wouldn't do that to her own son.

I don't think we should be surprised at anything Patty does: she's already had a dog violently killed so the witness will think Frobisher had it done and testify against him, made her new assistant miss her engagement party to deliver a bogus brief to a judge just so she can judge her commitment to the firm and fired people left and right.

I think Forbisher sent the first one. He said as much to his lawyer in the diner: "Do you know how much it cost to send a grenade through he US postal service?" Even his sleazy lawyer looked disturbed.

I think the son copied the idea and planted it in his step-father's car.

So, now, Patti has the false sense of security/relief thinking they were both sent by her son. So, she's probably going to send the CIA bodyguard away.

I felt sorry Forbisher in the second episode when he was in turmoil whether to order the hit on the blonde, but last night he showed just how sleazy and untrustworthy he is. He was so smooth and polite in front of the cops, but shows his true colors to his lawyer.

I must have been 1/2 watching at that point, but now that you mention it, I do remember him saying that, so it does seem like he sent the first one. (But that was pretty quick customer service when the son bgot the second one, since he ordered it off the Internet!).
