I have off tmrw so today is my kinda sorta Friday. I'll take it! :D

Today's supposed to be my rest day but I wanna work out so I'm just gonna do it! It'll be cardio. Probably KB since that's what I would be up for next in my rotation. It feels good to K/B on DOMS'y muscles anyway - which I have right now, though it's surprisingly not bad! Tomorrow I will do my Shaun work out-maybe MIST this time! :eek: Then Friday I'll take my rest day. Sounds like a good plan to me! :)

Today was going to be my weigh/measure day because I've completed 4 weeks of my current rotation today (can you believe it!? LOL) but I lifted weights y'day so I'm likely holding on to some water from it. For this reason I will wait until Friday to do it. No sense in taking the chance, right?

I did my nails last night. I have been painting my toes regularly since summer started but recently began with my fingernails too. I gave myself a french about a week ago. Came out pretty good all things considered but it was chipping so it was time for a change. Speaking of chipping...I bought this top coat that is supposed to be chip resistant. Tried it last night. Let's see if it actually works! I am so hooked on having my nails painted now. A part of me wants to start going for regular mani/pedis but I know me, after a couple of weeks I won't want to be bothered so I think I'll just keep doing them myself while I am enjoying it and maybe go once in a while for a mani/pedi for the little extra "perks" you get from a professional like cuticle care, massages, etc. I lurve the feet/hand massages. I used to get manicures (no wraps or anything) regularly some years ago. I swore I was gonna go in there one day and tell the girl I would pay her for a regular manicure if she'd just massage my hands for 20 minutes! :D

Well, I was last to post last night so I have nothing to catch up on. I'll BBL later though!:cool:

40 minutes of KCM Kickbox + BBC Shoulders and Back Core work: Core on the floor 2x thru + Standing abs once. :D

Coffee cup is empty...wish someone would come along and fill it up for me. I have been up for an hour and everyone is getting on my nerves already. DS is going around like a maniac.......:confused: Plus TTOM is here, patience isn't the best.

I am gonna take today to go through some of my school work material, laundry and cleaning up....that never ends. I am hoping to get a workout in this a.m as well.

Wendy** Can't wait to hear what your results are. I need to figure out a rotation for myself and one that I can follow with my busy schedule!

Lori:: Sorry you are having a bad start to your day. That stinks. Nothing worse (IMO) then a little one whose going crazy early in the morning. I threaten my DS repeatedly to play quietly and leave mommy alone when she first gets up if he knows what's good for him. :p I am not done with my current rotation but will check #'s this week since it's been a month. I am not excited to do it b/c even though I like what I see, how I feel and how my pants fit (meaning I know I am getting some kind of positive results!), I KNOW the #'s will undoubtedly disappoint anyway. :( I'll be sure to come here and whine about it so don't worry. LOL
 
Hi ladies,

My lunchtime w/o plans have not come to fruition lately. There is a lot of activity going on right now and I've been working through lunch for what seems like weeks. Today is a cardio day and I really want to step. Knowing that my knee can't take that I guess I'll opt for 4ds kb/bc.

STS was tough yesterday, especially the bicep work. Holy Moly, I used 45# for barbell curls and my pace was slower than Cathe and I ended up shorting 1 rep each on the set of 10 and set of 8. I'm using the weights from my previous round and since I'm only doing meso 2, I didn't have the build up from meso 1. It also doesn't help that biceps are my weakest body part.

I was planning on WFH today, but since we are expecting 3-6" of snow tomorrow I'll WFH then.

Wendy-Nice w/o this morning. HHHMmmmm, MIST-maybe I should give that a try instead. I love mani/pedi's too. Usually I just get Pedi's because I am a nail biter. You would think I would've given that up at my age.:mad: It sure would be nice if you got another day all to yourself! I have to say I took my measurements last week and interestingly enough, they are the same as in 2007. I'm kinda of convinced that this is my size, although I would really like to lose some fat so my muscles show through.

Lori-Enjoy your day. I know it's busy, but it's always nice when you don't have to go to work! Glad you are liking the bike. I always sweat tons too on elliptical or bike. You are already a pretty fast runner, you'll have to let us know if you get any faster after using the bike for a period of time.

Laura-good news about DH huh. Hope the bloodwork comes back clean too. It's also a good sign that he is feeling better. You have a busy day planned for tomorrow too. I'm looking forward to those day's when I'm home alone. Of course by then, I'll probably be wishing I wasn't alone.

Jacque-what are you up to? I heard that the Avs lost last night.:mad: It seems like they've either been on/together...or not at all. Hockey is a long season and there are many more games to come.

Diana:: What's WFH? I have a feeling I've asked you this before and have forgotten what the answer is! :confused: Enjoy 4DS cardio if that's what you do. I need to do that one again myself. Do MIST tmrw with me! Misery loves company you know! LOL How do you have time to w/o at lunch? Do you also shower after? That would be too much of a rush for me. You are good! My BF is a nail biter and her solution to it was getting acrylics. She says they taste so awful that it deterred her from biting her nails. She had them for many many years. Only recently gave them up but I have a feeling she will go back! ;)

Jacque:: Lucky is having a 40% off sale on all of their tops starting a week from today-the 17th. I think it runs thru the weekend. Just incase you are interested.... :)

Hey girls ..

I am in another office today .. and it is SOOOOOO SLLLLOOOOOWWW .. good b/c it gives me much needed stress relief .. BAD b/c I am bored to tears .. ugh... but no pia so I am NOT complaining :D

Wendy .. today is my FRI too .. kinda sorta .. but like you I will TAKE IT ...I am soooo excited to have the day off tmrw .. wooooohooooo .. making it a ME day ... I would love to have nice nails on my hands .. mine are paper thin .. and they crack and split .. I am too ruff on them to have painted nails . would love to be able to maintain a nice french manicure on them though .. my toenails .. I keep them all nice and painted and pampered .. but the fingernails .. they get neglected!!

Di .. yes DH is feeling much better .. told him we needed to get him exercising regularly .. :confused:.. yes ..that :confused: was his face .. he used to work out w/me in gym every day .. he is hyper .. and always on the run and active .. so he gets exercise .. just not CONCENTRATED exercise ... I am gonna try to work on him ..

Lori .. booooo PMS .. man ... I feel your pain .. I was ILL this morning too .. seems everything rubbing me wrong way ...?? not sure why ..

well .. I did mish mosh class last night .. YIKES .. my butt is so sore it hurts to bend over .. hammies and core is not much better .. today was to be a rest day .. but I brought my stuff and I am gonna do BH yoga at lunch :D .. then tmrw is my ME day ... so I will prbly do BH weights .. ME Cahte w/o .. ok ..have a great one .. I will BBL .. I have pelnty of time to check back in .. LOL:p :D ..
 
Laura:: Have you ever tried using a nail strengthener? Sally Hansen has several and then there is also the Nailtiques system which is supposed to be good. It's all polish that you apply so it's easy to do. I may look into it myself if I want to continue to keep my fingernails painted w/o getting them wrapped.
