Good Morning Ladies. :)

Well, after basically working out three times y'day (Newport, 30 mins of kick class at the gym, hilly 5k walk with friend) I treated myself to a carmel latte lite and a glazed chocolate donut at Dunkin' afterwards. I blame it on vacation. I am getting in that "mode" early. ;)

Today will be a run. 5 miles is the goal as it's been for the past few weeks.

So Beach Body's newest release (Insanity) is out now. Anyone going to purchase it? :D

Jacque:: Sorry about the low step count y'day. Hopefully today will be a better day! :) Kettlebell work outs always give me DOMS in my lower body and yet my legs do not hurt this morning!?!? This is odd. I'll bet they start to get sore right before my run cause that would be my luck! :p

Off to find food. I'm hungry early this morning!

Later taters! :p

Good Morning girlies!

Had a terrible time draggin' my butt out of bed this morning  But I managed to get out there and do NMTZ anyway :D I liked it! My only issue was all the mat work, I'm still not able to do that sort of ab work. Standing moves are more friendly to me right now with the occasional plank thrown in. Any sort of crunch though, forget it! Anyway, I think I'll have fun using some of those circuits along with the treadmill for cardio like I've been doing lately. Once my sorry abs are back to normal, I'm going to really enjoy that workout.

Wendy: I'd say you deserved that latte and donut after all that exercise yesterday! Did you get all your steps in for the 5th day in a row? You're on a roll, girl!

Hello to everyone! Will bbl after I get some work done ~

TGIF!

Hi ya Chickadees.

I'm back from my run. 5 miles as predicted but it was tougher then usual. I started out with a 20 minute ITread that is one big hill climb. It goes from 0 to 13% grade. YEOWCH! I followed that up with Itread 1/40 minutes which obviously felt all the more difficult at that point and it had it's share of hills in it too!:eek::eek:

I think it's safe to say there is DEFINITELY no guilt over last night's indulgence after ^^^^^ work out! :p

I'm up over 10k already today so it's easy breezy from here on out! Actually, I have some running around to do plus packing and cleaning before we head out tmrw so I'm sure I could make 10k today even w/o this morning's run. Can't wait to see what the gym is like at the hotel tmrw! You know it's on my list of the top 10 things to check out when I am staying away from home! :D

Jen:: Do what feels best for you as far as abs. Throw in a standing move in place of the floor work or just nix those parts all together for now. No biggie. Glad you liked it though! :)

Okay, I'd better go for now...My brain is going to explode by the time I'm done packing. We are only going for 5 days and have a washer/dryer in the condo yet I feel the need to pack enough clothes for a month! Gotta try to cut it back a bit.

BBL!

Hi ladies,

Its almost 10pm here, not sure anyone will even see my post.

Yesterday I did C&T, 20 min elliptical and 20 min stepper, abs, and then bootcamp was really tough.

We did the "12 days of summer" similar to the 12 days of Xmas.
1-lap around the soccer field
2-push ups
3-50 yard dashes
4- sit ups
5-hills
6-cross over lunges
7-20 yard suicides
8-squats
9-flip 9 cones
10-walking pushups
11-20 yd back pedals
12-dips

We warmed up with 3 laps then started. We basically did 1, then 2...then 1, then 3, 2, 1, then on 4,3,2,1 etc. My team only completed through 7. It was very tough to say the least.

Today I did on of A-jocks mish moshes. It was a combination of Imax 3 blasts with leg work in between, then bootcamp cardio with leg work in between. My legs were really feelin' it when I finished and I burned a whopping 591 cal in just over an hour.

Wendy-your run sounds exhausting. My legs felt like jello doing all those hills and running last night. I'll have to check out the "Insanity" from BB and let you know what I think.

Jen-I must be the only one without NMTZ! It sounds like a good one. Just stick to what feels most comfortable for ab work. I'm sure it will take a while for insides to heal completely and be ready for the stress you want to put on them.

Well I'm all packed up and ready for my trip tomorrow morning. I probably won't be back here until Tuesday. I will be taking plenty of pictures though.

Have a great weekend ladies.
