Good Morning Girls,

Seems like I can't sleep pass 7:30 anymore:eek: I guess its all those early mornings I have been doing. I feel rested though, even though I didn't go to bed until late.

We are having DS's bday party today after lunch. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do, if anything, but I decided on Thurs to have it at the house and only have a few kids. I have no idea how many kids are even coming.

Yesterday's workout was later in the day. I did 3 miles on the TM, 10 min on the bike and my own shoulders, tris and bics. I am going to get on the TM soon so I can have my workout out of the way for the day.

Wendy** I am guessing you feel a lot better today:p I have a girls night next friday night and I would like to go BUT I am on call and I have training sessions in the a.m! I may go for a little while though!

LauraR** NIce workout yesterday. I haven't done LIC in a looooooooong time!

Good Morning Lori and all who follow.

Dinner last night was fun and super yummy but man was I full! Talk about eating too much! UGH! :eek:

Today I have a hair apptmnt at 10:30 to get my hilites done. I am *hoping* to get my arse in gear in just a few minutes and bang out some cardio before I go and then I can do Disc 3 this afternoon. Time will tell...

Lori:: We always have a family party for Joey and try to do it on the weekend closest to his actualy Birthday. He's never had a kids party but has only recently really started asking for one so this year for his 6th Birthday I will let him invite a small group of his friends from school for a party OUT somewhere. Me thinks he'll choose Chuck E. Cheese. :rolleyes: You got MORE lulu lemon clothes!? Well la dee da da miss fancy pants. Aren't we top o' the line rich successful trainer now! :p;):):D

LauraR:: Yep, it's about balance and not depriving yourself. I refuse to not let myself have a good time once in a while! I like to eat and drink so dangit I'm gonna do it! Just can't OVER-do it and I can have my fitness AND my fun at the same time. :D

Okay, gonna attempt to get my arse in gear for cardio here shortly....wish me luck! :p
 
Hi Ladies,

I've been MIA the last couple days...just busy. The girls left on Friday, their actual 3rd birthday. DS said everyone on the plane said happy birthday to them. We need to clean the house terribly, it hasn't had a thorough cleaning since the girls' have been here.

In order to get back on track with STS, I will be doing legs (disc 9) and Back/Triceps (disc 5). Thursday was Intensity Step Only, Friday was one round of SS Lower Body Blast and abs from SS and PP. I took a rest day yesterday to catch up on my recordings, do laundry, and run some errands. It's time to get back to it today.

Weight Watchers has fallen by the wayside for me but I do intend to get back on track. I do pretty good during the day, but definitely need to find a replacement for chocolate chips. I've been recording and watching Dr. Oz and he talks about how your body craves nutrients, not calories. I've also started reviewing the Paleo Diet Solution a bit. The Paleo Diet Solution says our bodies do not need whole grains, whole wheat etc. My question would be where do we get our fiber from if we eliminate them? Being hypothyroid, it's important for me to get 25-35 grams of fiber each day.

Lori-I read that the rest of your PT materials came in. It appears to me that you are right on track. Enjoy the bday party today!

Wendy-Intensity is goodie for sure. I've done it 3 times in the past 9 days just to get all the steps down...now I have it! Glad you had a great time with the girls. We always had family bday parties too. As the kids got older we included their friends too.

LauraR-LIC is fun w/o for sure. I'm trying to get back on track with my eating. It sounds to me like you have this eating thing down pat.:D Good for your!! Being and overeater I've always struggled with the food part of the fitness equation. I do much better now that I'm older...and wiser.

Jacque-where are you lady? Has your company officially relocated? One of our Avs players lost his edge and went basically head first into the boards. He had to be taken off the ice on a gurney. He does have movement in his extremeties so there doesn't appear to be any paralysis. I finally had my review with my boss and it was actually pretty good. I will need to learn some new processes and put them into place. He's willing to help me with that.

LauraT-What are you up to? I did see your posts about plyo work. I love doing plyo work as I really thinks it helps with my problem areas, the thick thighs and booty! I'm hoping to incorporate Insanity into my STS rotation next month.

Wendy** Yes...give that boy a proper birthday party!:p There is no going back once you start. I did order more lulu...and it backfired on me b/c the delivery guy delivered some stuff to DH's store and while he was at it, he figured that he would give him my parcels to! Instead of ordering one big pile, I would order a little at a time...so I had 3 more outfits come....(they arrived) and now I have 2 sweaters coming and 2 tank tops! :eek: LOL The sweaters are sooo warm! I wear them instead of a coat.

Diana** I am guessing your house feels lonely with the girls gone. I feel like my house needs a good cleaning as well. I am just so busy I don't know when or will I will find the time! Ugh! Hope you get back on track with your ww's and sts this week!

Hi Ladies,

I completed Disc 9 (legs) and Disc 5 (back & triceps). I'm beat...and starving. All I had to eat before my 2+ hour workout was a handful of almonds. I did drink 64oz of water during the 2 w/o's though.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!
 
Hey. Finished Disc 3 Legs not that long ago. Good stuff!

Now I am showered, fed and ready to hit the foodstore as soon as the coffee cup is empty.

BBL or in the A.M....I have off from work tmrw. for MLK Day. Anyone else? :D
