Damage Control...Hump Day Wednesday!

Good Morning.

T-10 minutes and counting til Athletic Step for me today. Since it's not a full hour I may tack on some BBL or Tonique at the end if I have time. :) I previewed the work out last night and it's definitely something I can handle pretty easily in terms of choreography. The only thing that scares me is the turn after the core crunch in combo 2.

I will catch up with personals later on at work.

BBL!

Good Morning!

Had to go back to work last night and I didn't get home until almost 3 a.m:confused: DS slept until 8:30 but I still wasn't ready to get up. Nothing that a bit of foffee can't fix.

My back and legs are a little sore today and I don't know why. I didn't do any exercises yesterday that would make my back sore. KB has a way of sneaking in like that. Odd. I was planning on working back but that won't happen now. I am going to do cardio, chest, tris and abs. OR I may do a circuit using the TM and another dvd.

DS and I are going to my parents house for the night. My sister offered to watch him while I went for a 32 k run but there are to many hills where my mom lives and you either have to go right or left....no side sts....noth'in! I may do my long run tomorrow evening when I get home while everyone else is eating dinner.

Wendy** Hope you had a good workout.

Diana** I love weights...I have probably said that a million x's already. Have you seen any improvements with just doing Insanity?

I may bbl or maybe not until tonight. Have a good one!

Lori:)

Good Morning Ladies,

Not sure what I will do this morning. I'm working from home today and would like to do both cardio and weights. I'm considering doing STS meso 2 for the next month, but doing legs at least 2 times per week. Once using STS or my heavy leg training at the rec ctr, and tonique (love these).

My legs are a tad sore from yesterday. It felt good to lift heavy again at the rec ctr. It's been almost 3 weeks since I last got to the rec ctr.

I was the last to post last night...I think anyway.

Wendy-can't wait to hear what you thought of AS. Cathe pretty well talks through all the moves so you should be fine.

Lori-Wow, I would be super tired if I was you. I hope you can get your long run in soon...it's stressing you out I can tell. Hope you have a nice time at your mom's. Well I've never done just Insanity, I've always added weight work in also. I will send you the weight rotation I got from Ms. Fit, the one I've been using. I was seeing good results combining the two, until my eating fell of the wagon the past couple of weeks and I haven't been getting to the rec ctr on a regular basis. I was still doing Cathe weights at home though.

Hello.

Well today's work out ended up being the following:

Athletic Step combos only (wasn't ready to do the challenge after just one time thru)-I could tell, even in the learning process where you can't always give it your all, that this work out will be an excellent one for the heart rate! wow. Add a second set of risers and it will be even MORE intense!!! I will hold off on that idea though until I am confident with the choreo. :p
Original Tonique Lunge Segment (basically an extension of the cardio that targets legs!)
PS SL&A Ab work only

With the stretch at the end it took about 70 minutes give or take. Great work out! :)

Lori:: I never felt much DOMS from K/B until I started using weighted gloves. Now that I do, watch out! I can get some MAJOR DOMS from it! It's great! :) Enjoy your visit with your parents. Sorry about the lack of sleep. Hope the coffee helps! ITA with Diana...don't do the marathon if your heart isn't in it. You will be miserable. Not worth it.

Diana:: I can't plan/prepare ahead like that. It's just not me. Heck, I can't even get in the habit of packing lunch for DS and myself the night before! I do everything at the last minute! Sometimes I hate it but it's just me. I will surely be scrambling to pack for this coming w/e in A/C right before bed on Thursday or maybe even Friday morning before work!

Hi Jacque! How are you?

Hey Ladies.

Very quiet again today....

So I don't think I told you but I am taking a break from PS this week. I have completed three weeks of it and am starting to get very antsy (like I had previously mentioned) and don't think my earlier plan is going to keep me from allowing my ADD to take over so I am giving in for a week. I will be doing a mix of cardio and circuits mostly with lots of leg work in it. After the one week I plan to return to PS for an additional three weeks. Once these 3 weeks are completed I will move on to the lower body focused rotation I mentioned I think....

Amidst all of this I am going to make it my business to learn AS fairly well (3-4 times through should do the trick) and then I will tackle SM! I'm askeered  but I'm gonna do it!!!!!...I HOPE! This would be a great time for some encouraging feedback! ;) If you haven't read the O/D I am planning on ordering a few Amy vids. One of which is an Advanced Step Challenge. I am determined to get over my fear of intricate choreo if it kills me so I think if I can learn SM then it will give me the confidence to tackle one of Amy's step work outs and yes...I've officially lost my mind! LOL :)

Okay, that's enough babble for now...BBL if anyone else pops in for me to talk to! :p
