A very good morning everyone! I'm soooo happy to be back to normal life. Wedding was very nice. Weather was gorgeous but a little cool by the beach. Dinner was fun, cake was rich, and bride and groom looked very happy. The drama was thick till the end, but in the end good prevailed :). Ex-wife is going to just have to accept son is not little boy.

The entire wedding tap was FREE! Operation Open Arms is a charity here that focuses on active duty military providing them fishing trips, beach get aways, or weddings using a network of local business. The business give up there services for the men and women that serve our country. I could not have done this without them. I think they went all out because of my position with a local elected official although I'm not sure. The work soley by donations driven by the press these type of events get......BUT my step son threw in a wrench at the last minute and refused to have any media, media interviews, or even allow pictures. Although everyone tried to reassure him that privacy would be respected and pictures of him and lorena would not be taken he flat out refused and had security remove anyone that looked like media. I realize that's his perogotive, but he knew from the beginning he was getting a free wedding, reception, and honeymoon and that it was going to draw some attention. I got to tell you I was mad and VERY embarrassed :eek:. I have been trying to do a little damage control by emailing the charity this morning offering pics of the event and even considering sending a large donation to make up for this "bone head". My step son is very much like his mother and I hope and pray this little bride can overlook that behavior.

I've attached two pics. Bride designed and made her own dress. It was quite cha-cha. Very representative of her personality. I loved it. All my working out and bodyrocking paid off. I fit into my dress with a little room to spare. ;)

Thanks for listening.

Carmen.

Hi Tammy and Carmen,

Tammy - I followed the rotation for the first month, but I think I am going to kick it up a bit for the next 30 or so days, I haven't figured it out yet, but I will let you know..
I love the Tabata Inferno- it is one of my favs of the series. I have doing the total body workout this week, and it isn't one of my favs. I prefer the weight workouts to the cardio in this series actually, the tabata workout is the best of the cardio workouts, imo..

Carmen - the pics look great, and you were just blooming!! The bride and groom look really cute together!
I don't blame you for your feelings regarding the press, etc. I think your stepson was a little worked up about the wedding and just acted out from stress and nerves. Having said that, if the event was a freebie then he should have been much more appreciative of that fact from the getgo, regardless of his emotions. I think you are handling this very appropriately and professionally in the aftermath of the drama. After you do your due diligence I guess you can chalk this up to immaturity..

Today was SP Total Body and then I added Amy's Ab section 1 and stretch section 1.

Thanks for the great wedding pics, Carmen!

Yes, throwing the media out was a wrench...probably a donation would smooth things over quite a bit; I know that hurts though...

I'm sore from yesterday's STS legs, so I'm going to do one of the shorter Insanity workouts to loosen up a bit.

Thanks for the compliments on my avatar...yes, that's one of my babies-he's in second grade now and has taken floor rolling to the next level-Trampoline Jumping for Two Hours, Wheeeee!!!!!
