CRAZY STRONG AND LOVING IT FOR JUNE 23, 2010

Hi girls,

I'll just check in quickly then come back for personals.


Here's today's workout:

AeroJump/Sculpt Warm up through round 3= 32 minutes
Calories burned= 393

This was a lot of fun I love how there is very little equipement and you can really get a great workout. I think I'm addicted! There are a total of 10 rounds of jumping and sculpting but I only did 3 to get a feel for it and I didn't want to over do it since I'm semi-resting this week until I get my Turbo Fire!!!

KCM-30 Min to Fitness Weights- Workout #2 Bi's, Tri's and Shoulders= 30 Min
Calories burned= 246
I was dripping with sweat and I wasn't even lifting heavy. Just using a 10lb pair of dumbells and 1-15lb dumbell. Nice time efficient workout and love the active rest working the waistline.

Total calories burned= 639;)

I definitely have some personal comments to each of you but I'll comeback later for those. Have a great day!;)

Nice job, Nora!! Seems like you are feeling better, that is great news :)

I ended up just doing a short blow-off-some-steam run tonight with my hubs. I had another awful day at work and was super tired when I got home but wanted to get it out of my system so a short run was just what I needed. Not a ton of cals burned I'm sure, but hey - the steam I blew off instead was worth it. I feel better, that's all that matters, right?

And Roxie - you'll be happy to hear I'm off to get some abs in while watching a little TV before bed. I'll do a better ab workout tomorrow AM, this is just to tide me/you over ;)

I realized I made a mistake on my workout today, on the Chinups (8 unassisted). Since Debbie is so kind and post all her STS workouts, I just copy her layout. I am to lazy to write each workout out. I was in such a hurry today, I didn’t realized that I didn’t deleted Debbie’s results on the chin-ups. I only saw reps, not the rest! LOL! There is no way I can do chin-ups unassisted. I did the wienie once. I always delete all of Debbie’s numbers/notes, for some reason I left out the chin ups? I guess the once I did were the assisted once, I am not that good at those at all. I went over my workout card today just to make sure those are all my weights # that I listed today, everything else was correct! In Georgia (when I did P90X with my friend) I did 2 unassisted chin ups, they didn’t look so pretty. LOL! Need to work on those! I wonna be honest with my workouts and myself.

Debbie – sorry about your knee! You need to stop hurting yourself, lol! As always awesome job on your weights today.

Heather – nice job getting up early and KPC today. Are you drinking enough water?

Melissa – I will do Hiit 30/30! Nice job on Leaner Legs & CTX Back.

Jessica – have fun with your sis! Glad you had a short blow-off-some-steam run tonight. Did it help? I love STS!

Nora – I was looking at AeroJump/Sculpt on Amazon, they kinda expensive, hah? I have to admit they do look like fun. Let me know how you like the new DVD’s from Bob Harper. Havening the hardest time getting them. Had to sent them to my DD’s address in DC, DH will pick them up in July. Glad you feeling a little better, you got me worried!

Belinda- You are a superstar, what a killer workout for you today. I live in Oregon and the dvds I got Aero Barre and Aero Jump/Sculpt were over $19 and I got free shipping, that only applies within the us. When you check out I type in 10off in the coupon code part and it takes 10% off. You might check them out, they also sell beachbody stuff at this other site www.totalfitnessdvds.net. I did order the Bob Harper dvd's and had no troubles I did get a shipping notice today and I ordered yesterday, so as far as I can tell it seems to be ok.

Debbie- Oh No! Sorry to hear about your knee. I know how you feel. I'm sure the workout you did today was not knee injury friendly at all. I'd suggest maybe doing none weight leg workouts, such as, band work as in Travel fit or in Butts and Guts floor work only, or even KCM's Body Toning which is excellent and DOMS making sort of stuff, but easier on the knees. I'm learning about how to take care of my knees and what weight work I can do and how to modify it for my knee issues. Please take it easy and go lighter on the legs or knees until they are ok. Now that one knee is injured the other knee will try to compensate which means its more apt to overuse injury. Please be careful and modify. Take care my friend.;):) Killer workout today btw, but you always do killer workouts.

Melissa- Bravo on your early am workout and CTX Leaner Legs and CTX Back work done. Awesome job today!:)

Heather- Nice workout today with KPC (drills + 3 combos) and abs that sounds awesome, Great job!!!!

Jessica-Take it easy on your evening run in muggy weather, keep hydrated or tie a cold wet scarf around your neck to help. Your a brave lady to even consider a run in that kind of weather, for me it would be very bad with my MS.

Chris- I know what you mean I've been tracking my Turbo Fire anxiously awaiting its arrival, last time I looked its in Ohio. I guess that's progress it started off in IL and I'm in OR so its on its way probably another day or two:eek: The fatigue is really kicking my butt big time and its been muggy here so that just compounds things for me. I only take Avonex for MS I could take other things for the fatigue, but I hate taking a bunch of drugs. Plus, I can barely afford my Avonex every month which stresses me out. I know I could get a prescription for something to make me feel more awake but I don't want to do that. Some drugs work the opposite on me than what they are supposed to. I know weird huh. When I get really really sick and feel like I'm burning up and hot to the touch my temp runs below normal, go figure!:p I appreciate your well wishes and suggestion about taking something to help but I'm scared of taking medications and their side effects. I know Avonex has some scary ones to be aware of so I'm sort of traumatized about all of that. I've been on Avonex for 4 years now and I still have to premedicate with Aleve before I inject and take Extra Strength Tylenol's after. Usually there is about 2 to 3 hours from the time I premedicate w/aleve and then ice my thigh for 15 minutes before I inject then take post injection over the counter pain killers. The side effects I experience if I don't do that is major intense flu symptoms with full on fever, chills,bodyaches, etc.. that lasts for 24 hours. I try to desperately avoid that experience as it really drains me. I'm trying to get a little more sleep as my symptoms definitely worsen with exhaustion. Lately, it seems a slight tendancy for drop foot when tired, and balance can be wonky at times.
Enough, about me. OOh cardio hits! I have that one its fun, I know you'll have fun with that one.

Roxie- Oh no, please drink lots of water especially in warmer weather. Its so important. I went to Australia's Outback a few years ago and that's the first thing they told passengers on the shuttle from the airport to the resort hotel. Infact, we were told to drink a minimum of a liter or a maybe it was a gallon an hour to keep you from getting heat stroke. I drank that much I thought for sure I'd be a peeing machine but strangely enough that wasn't the case. So, yes lack of hydration can definitely make you feel sick. Please take care and go drink a nice cold liter of water.;)
