Correct form on rebounder?

I was viewing the basic and intermediate Urban Rebounding workouts by JB Berns and noticed that his upper body is on an angle while rebounding. I tried a few bounces and saw that my body is more comfortable at a shallower angle. Should this make a difference? Is there a reason why Berns and his crew bounce with their upper bodies leaning forward? To protect the spine perhaps?

I also noticed that the bouncing motion makes me dizzy. I guess I just have to get used to it. I know many of you use Cathe's hi/lo portion of MIC on it. I wonder if I can use the hi/lo portion of SJP on it and CK, probably? With modifications if I have to, of course. I love, love the idea of jumping around with hardly any impact to my joints.:)

I tried rebounding to Cathe's hi/low...but it really didn't work for me because it was hard due to the timing of each move. You have to jump one for her every 2 moves, if you are good at it. If that doesn't bother you, you can always do the basic jump when you can't think of anything else to do for a move.
As far as the upper body, mine is kind of on an angle, but I think it's more of a matter of balance ...but the most important - from what I'm told, is the lower body is pushing down, not jumping up. You feel it right away in the glutes, quads, and calves. Also, keep on your toes, or top part of the foot, don't jump flat footed. It's hard to do the whole time, but I got use to it, and If I can.....

I do all of the higher impact jumps, etc on the rebounder if it's one of my days that I'm not doing high impact. I usually do 2 days with high impact and take the remainder to the rebounder. It's fun. I just make sure I hold my abs tight on it and I don't notice leaning forward...I just do what feels natural with my abs held tight. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips, Faythe and lorajc. I'll remember to land on the balls of my feet and to keep my tummy tucked tight. It's a new movement for me and is something to get used to. I like doing high and low jogs on it. No impact on my knees at all.:)
