Core work

I work core/abs as often as possible...I shoot for most days of the week. As long as you don't train it with weights on back to back days, I was told that almost daily of core training is fine. I've never seen anything negative come of what I do. Only good things! VERY good things!:D
 
I've always heard not to overwork the core. I disagree. At one time, I was doing The Firm 5 Day Abs and my belly was flat. I don't remember any discomfort working my core that many days in a row. The workouts are fairly short. As long as you don't use weights, I say go for it.
 
I agree with the other posters, I try to work my abs as much as possible but do not use any weights. So I would say as often as you feel comfortable :)
