I am done with Muscle Max! Had a great workout, I shouldn't even post my cal burn:confused:, I burned only 237 cal. WTH! I hate lifting so light, can't get my HR up.

Yesterday was another rest day....I know....what as gotten into me?:) I felt as if I needed to have a few b/c of the training, then the race and then the cold! Back at it this week though:) No more rest days..EVER:rolleyes:

Belinda** Good job with your workout. You can't think about how many cals...have to think about how weight lifting reshapes your body!:eek:

I caught up on personals last night so short post for me.

I was doing FF dec rotation but to tell you the truth, I kinda lost my motivation for it. Maybe I should do some STS workouts or something and a full body at the end of the week? Totally lost. Would like to do something that I haven't done before.

Good for you taking another rest day, your body needed that. I am sure you will figure out a butt kicking rotation. Have fun with whatever you decide to do.

Hey girls! I didn't get a chance to check in after my workout yesterday...i decided to do 4DS Kickbox instead of the run, I got tired of waiting on dh to get up.:rolleyes: Actually, Im thinking about joining that gym thats down the street, the one i almost joined last year? There waiving the 'start up' fee when you sign on for 6months. Its only 25 a month and i would have access to it 24/7.

I don't know...thinking about it...my sister wants to buy my treadmill:p

Anyhoot, today is a run on the treadmill, DH went to bed last night ealier so he should be up soon...he better be;)

Belinda-You had a decent calorie burn and the most important thing is that your still training those muscles....NICE JOB! Awesome job with CCPP yesterday too!!!

Lori-Yeah, i was suprised to see that 3.4lb loss last week...but i also knew i probably wouldn't lose this week either but quess what? I peeked at the scale yesterday morning and it was down .5 so thats motivating;) Nice job on taking some rest days...i know thats hard for you to do:p

A lot of energy here this morning:D. This time of year getting my workouts in is so difficult but strangely enough it's the only time of year I lose weight:confused: I plan on doing kickboxing after work tonight, maybe I'll do 4DS like Amelia:)

Belinda - I agree with Lori that the weight workouts will reshape your body.

Lori - You deserve a rest day:) I would probably need a rest week after the race you ran. Have fun at work.

Amelia - Would they allow you to try the gym out for 1 week to see if you like it?

Helene - Sounds like you did a lot of workouts this weekend.

Iris - Can't wait to hear all the details:)

Cookie - Any celebrations this weekend for your DD?

I have been at work for a while but my boss was here so I had to wait for him to leave before I could check in:D I almost got all of my work done while he was here! LOL

Surprisingly I did the Gaulant workout today! I haven't done a Cathe step workout in ages. I wanted to get my workout started but DS woke up and DH was still in bed. So I decided to be nice and let him sleep in. DS came downstairs with me and with minimal interuptions I got my workout done. I am hoping to get CC#3 in tonight and some abs. But we will see what happens.

Ameila** Oh my....selling the TM??? Not a good idea at all!:eek: What are you thinking? I would rather sell my right arm!;) and Im right handed!:eek: If you don't need to money I wouldn't sell it. Especailly don't sell it so you can afford the gym membership. You might start going to the gym and hate it then you will be kicking yourself in the rear for selling your TM. Tell you sister to go buy her own and leave you alone!:p

Deb** I will start losing weight some Dec month. Its so weird. When other people gain, I lose! I think its all the running around that I do, shopping, wrapping, work....by the time Christmas morning hits I am usually 5 lbs lighter. But then in Jan I gain it back.

Belinda: You are getting some incredible calorie burns from the TC. So I think a day here and there with lower numbers isn't as bad. But I agree, it is frustrating, my heart rate just doesn't go up as much on weight days, especially with small arm muscle groups. How much longer is DD with you? I really like STS by the way, especially Meso 2. I really do feel like I am pushing myself and that is a feeling that I like.

Amelia: Darn scale :mad: Of course, it has lot to do with me not getting my eating under control. But I am working out good again so that makes me feel better. I'm thinking of getting myself a mini-goal November weight-loss ticker to go along with yours :p

Lori: The verdict is still out on Insanity. I am almost thinking the short workouts don't work you for long enough. The stretching after the warm up is just so loooong. But I am going to keep going for a bit, if only for the simple fact that I need shorter workouts for a bit and that I want to lessen the number of step workouts I do for my knee and my calf. The calory burn from the first two I did was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Anyways, I think they are a nice change though. We'll see how I do but my weight went up like 5lbs this past week. :confused: I know with Meso 2 I could also be retaining water. We'll see, but it will be hard to do just these workouts for two months. I'll need to put in some of my fun Cathe tapes I'm sure. I'll try to stick to it for a month, but I might include some of the longer insanity workouts from month two a bit earlier. Nice long run on Saturday FYI!

Debbie: I love Meso 2. Wish I could have been doing my workout on the beach though. I do get my better workouts in on the weekends when I have more time. I take my rest day or days if needed during the week so I don't get too tired for work and all the craziness that happens during the week.

Can't wait until Iris checks in. Hope you had a great time!

Not much on the table for me today. I am going to follow the Insanity schedule and just do the cardio recovery disc. Works out good for me since I did push hard this weekend.

Everybody have a great week and I hope we can all stay away from the candy. I know I mean it!

Debbie, enjoy your KB workout tonight. You and Lori are right; it’s just frustrating with the low calorie burn I get these days. I am so used too burning more.

Lori, are you trying to catch up on your workouts? LOL! You go, girl! Have fun with your run tonight.

Helene, glad you enjoy STS. Wished I make it once through. DD is leaving on Monday. She is doing much better. I am sure not used to getting that of a low cal. burn from lifting weights. I am a little frustrated. Glad I make up with the TC, love that machine. Have fun with your Insanity workouts.

Iris, I want a full report. LOL! I hope you had fun.

Hi Girls,

Its only 7:34 and DS as been in bed for a little while now. He gets up way to early and has no naps through out the day. He was so moody at dinner time. Finally at 6:50 I put him to bed. He wasn't in bed very long before he was asleep.

I am trying to get my act together to get up and workout. I have nothing else to do so its just as well right? :D Im going to start with some abs work and then go from there.

Helene** I didn't pick up much candy "yet" :) DH brought home a box of bars but thats about it. I need to get a couple of things this week. Prehaps I should pick up the stuff that I don't like...nah...thats just crazy talk!;) I know what you mean about the Insanity stuff. The only thing I can figure is maybe you burn more calories AFTER the workout is over or something? Maybe it revs up your metobolism. I know one thing though...I won't be dropping weight with it. I did it for 2 weeks, plus running and no changes to report.

Belinda** haha! Yeah, trying to catch up on my workouts:) Im not sure when I will get to workout tomorrow cause I have to be at work a little earlier then usual. It will probably be tomorrow night.

Alright, I should go change and get my workout done!
