Good morning girls,

I will do cardio today, still not sure what I will do? We have so much snow here in Germany, I had it with that white stuff:eek: The dogs like it!


I will be back to report my workout!

Just a quick check in cause I have a dentist apt in an hour. My cheek is now swollen a little. There must be some kind of infection there. Hopefully he will give me some antibiotics and send me home.

I will check in again later! I need to get ready!

Lori-Yep,a swollen cheek sounds like an infection to me too...take care,ok! Toothaches are such a PITA:confused:

Workout is done...30day shred level one,then some compound weight work,then a 1mile run on the treadmill. Felt good to get that run in. I had my mp3 player plugged up to my treadmll and i was lol at the variety of music on there. I went from Marlyn manson(beautiful people) to micheal jackson(billie jean) to kenny chessney(summertime) then Motley Crue(kickstart my heart) :eek:

burned 400cals...later gators:cool:
 
Morning Ladies,

Hope you're all doing well...it was so windy this morning while waiting for my train. Felt like I was going to get blown away:p

Today's wo was Disc#3, Legs. It was good, but didn't find it to be as intense as 1 & 2. I think B&G is a much tougher work out to be honest, but let's see if there will be any DOMs tomorrow. I'm still have back DOMs from Tuesday:D

Belinda - We are still having nice weather minus the wind, but I think it will dip back down next week. When will Germany start to thaw out? Did you finish your cardio? Are you feeling more rested?

Lori - Infections are the worst:confused: Good thing you're getting it over with today. I can't believe you weren't in more pain...

Amelia - Thanks for the info yesterday. I guess my biggest challenge is eating food with the right mix of nutrients. I have an appt with a nutrionist tomorrow to help me figure all of this stuff out. Hopefully it won't be a waste of time. Sounds like you were having fun shredding:eek:

Hi Ladies:)

Its been a rather busy day here...all Dr related stuff:mad: Not really what I want to be doing on my day off...oh well!

Dentist says I have an infection (btw why is everything dental related so uncomfortable? Even xrays hurt!) And I also need a root canal:confused: Not surprised! BUT he can't do it b/c my roots are in a "S" shape...so I have to wait for a referral to see a specialist and probably pay a arm and a leg to get that done....not to mention driving into the city and back! He said "oh, making a shopping trip out of it" I told him that I wouldn't have any money left!:eek: So I have the antibiotics to clean up the infection and hopefully no more toothache.(for now anyway)

Then I had to take DS to the Dr b/c he isn't feeling well. All he really said was that it was to early to tell what the cough was going to turn into, so he wrote me a perscription and said if he isn't better in a couple of days, to fill it.

THEN......I finally got some much needed ME time! Put DS down for a nap and I went for a nice 50 mins run outside.

I forgot to tell you guys that my boss called me yesterday and wasn't very happy with me. Actually, it wasn't even my fault...thats the thing that pisses me off. I did nothing wrong but things weren't going his way yesterday so when the last thing went wrong, guess who got the blunt of it!? Yepper...me! I was sooo rotted when I got off of the phone b/c he as never spoke to me like that before and he won't ever again. The next time he uses that tone with me I am going to tell him to take my job and shove it! I don't mind being told when I am in the wrong but I did nothing wrong. So yesterday was when I had my bright moment of "you know what"? I own this man nothing, and he as done nothing for me. If I want to go to work with DH then I will...and I am not going to feel one bit bad about leaving him high and dry! PR*CK!

Ameila** Love the new quote! And its sooo true! I don't understand it at all when people say that they don't have time to workout! My SIL says it all the time and I tell her " I don't know what people do who don't workout? Do you clean all day?" LOL Its my me time and I need it. I guess I could choose to take a nap or workout...and I perfer to workout!

Trish** You asked yesterday about my calorie range. This week I am doing a zigzag to get rid of these pesky pounds. The last time i did this the weight was gone in a week:) and I wasnt' even hungry. It ranges from 1550 to 1042 ( which I know is low but its only one day) the other days are 1100 and 1300 range. I haven't been counting every morsel that goes in my mouth but I haven't been picking. Counting cals for a short period of time just gets me back on track.

Hey Lori,

What a pr*ck your boss is...whatever he said to you:p If he is a decent guy he will apologize next time you are at work. I hate when people (including myself!) take their frustrations out on the wrong person.

I don't know if I could ever get by on those calories...I'm hoping that my appt with the nutrionist will shed some light on the whole thing for me. Currently I use online calculators to figure out what I should be eating, but I never modify for heavy weight days or cut back for rest days, etc. Anyhow, glad you got your meds and hope the pain will be gone soon.

Lori-Great run...hopefully your tootache will be gone soon,im sure those antibiotics will knock it out. I hope your DS feels better too! Bummer about your boss,yep...sounds like a prick to me.

Trish-let us know what the nutrionist says tommorrow. Ive often thought about seeing one...maybe one day.

Lori - What a day you had today. I'll bet you'll be glad when it's over. I hope you and your DS feel better soon.

Amelia - I like your quote. There is an instructor at our gym who reminds me of Jillian but in a much milder way. Her favorite expression is "You can do anything for 10 seconds"

Trish - Do we live near each other, I noticed we have been having the exact same weather and I checked your profile and you live in NJ too. I live in Morris Township.
