Clean and Tidy - Mon June 25

What you eat on the weekends doesn't count, right.............??

Well, my scale is holding me accountable. Apparently no one informed him of the rules...

I have GOT to be squeaky clean today!!
 
oooh Katie I am so glad what we eat on weekends doesn't count. They need to invent scales that take weekend eating out of the equation.

I am going to be very clean for the rest of this week. I don't think tidy is even going to cut it this week. My mum is coming to stay for a week on Thursday so I probably won't get much exercising in after Wednesday for a week. So my eating will have to be really clean.

Good morning ladies,

Now, see, I've been completely misinformed...I had no idea that weekends don't count. I'm so stupid :p!

Anyway, back on track today. It will be the usual menu and leftover clean up...

B - Spanish egg white omelette, steel cut oats with strawberries
S - cottage cheese and an apple
L - salad, hardboiled egg whites with guac,
S - blueberries and a slice of flax seed bread with PB
D - chicken sate, steamed broccoli, spaghetti squash
S - yogurt with mixed berries

I normally have lunch with my SO on Mondays (my day off) but I have to work today so that will help keep me on track. IF it's not too hot this evening I may even try to squeak a workout in.

Hi ladies!

Another one here who's glad the weekends don't count & needs to get back on track today too. Not sure how clean this week will go, though, because my DH & I are going to a music festival on Thursday & we also have a friend who is celebrating her 40th birthday so we're supposed to go out with her... & it's also my dad's birthday on Friday. So there's a lot going on that may make it difficult to eat completely clean... but I'll try to be tidy, at least!

This morning, I did IMAX 3 & had a great workout. So far, I've had 2 cups of coffe & 24 ounces of water & I'm eating some yogurt. We didn't make it to the grocery store over the weekend either so I'm not really sure about all my meals. I have 3 more containers of yogurt & some dry cereal so I'm sure my breakfast & morning snacks will consist of those items. I brought a leftover piece of rotisserie chicken for lunch but also brought some leftover pasta salad, which I should probably resist, so maybe I'll got out & make a mixed greens salad to go with my chicken instead. I'll try to post my meals later.

i'm back! i had a totally unscheduled rest week last week. it was the kids last week of school, dd's k graduation, ds's baseball playoffs every night, and dd's dance recitals. plus mil's retirement dinner and i worked full days instead of half days b/c my boss was at a conference in vegas. whew! but it's nice to back in the swing of things with a normal schedule.

i got back on the horse yesterday with drill max cardio and upper body premix, and today i hope to do leaner legs.

i'll post meals later - but so far i have:

b- yogurt with granola
s- orange
l- ww bread w/natural pb

Hey All,

Not sure what I will ingest today either, but it sure as heck will not include M&M's!:) Glad everyone had a yummy weekend.

I need to grocery shop too, but know I will have a nectarine and maybe a few rice cakes w/peanut butter this AM before I do KenpoX. Followed by a chicken breast and a whole wheat tortilla. My PM workout will be chest and back-P90X.Got to hit the weights hard for the next few weeks..

Off to workout and empty my pockets at Whole Foods!:7

Thank goodness weekends dont count:) Its Monday,and all is back to clean and tidy!
Workout today will be Amy Bento KBX, and abs, i'm starting total body weights tomorrow, vs my GS which i've been doing for a while now, its strange i'm always nervous when i change up my workouts.
Eating, as usual!
Its so funny, i'm like clockwork Mon-Friday!
Robin, i see you're going on the roadtrip. I'll be seeing you there, how exciting.

Hello.

I ended up having an unscheduled rest week, too, Cody. I had totally intended to at least do push-ups and walking lunges while we travelled, but it just didn't happen. And I definitely wasn't eating clean. It wasn't disastrous, I just often didn't have a choice in what I ate, since we were staying with friends. I made the cleanest choices possible. Fortunately, my clothes and scale seem to think everything is fine.

I'm getting busier and busier the closer I get to furlough. It's hard for me to remember to drink water. I suddenly realize that I'm THIRSTY and haven't drunk anything for hours. How do you remind yourself to drink when you're busy? I'm thinking of setting a timer for every 1 1/2 hours and using that to remind me. What do you think?

1. Blueberry Protein Smoothie
2. 1 cup cereal, 1 apple
3. Hummus on hemp bread, salad with light dressing
4. Carob Banana Protein Smoothie
5. I am planning on eating vegetarian chilli and a salad

I carry a water bottle with me everywhere I go. I drink my first quart in the AM, have one in my car, on my desk, drink another quart during the day and then one more at night, you get used to it. But I am always looking for a bathroom!:)

I drink a glass of water every hour. That way I don't have to worry about whether I am drinking enough or not and it is easier to remember to drink.
