Laura I don't have a cyst, but I have a Morton's Neuroma. Which is an inflammation of the nerve that runs between the 3rd and 4rth toes. It used to hurt really bad when I did cardio. Now I've had it injected and it is much better. It still bothers me some, but no where near the way it used to. I certainly hope your surgery goes well and you recover quickly. Just be sure to listen to your doctors advise and rest as long as he/she tells you to!! Don't risk doing too much too soon!! Good luck!!

Ouch that sounds painful. I've never had anything like that so I can't give you any answers, but I hope you recover soon after your surgery.

yes,it is a ganglion cist.i'm thinking of going back to the brand of sneaks i used to wear-New Balance instead of Nike

I've never had a ganglion cyst in my foot, but I do have one in my wrist. It used to be the size of a large grape, just sticking out the top of my wrist. Since I've stopped doing pushups, it's shrunk away to nothing. As long as I don't do pushups or plank work on my hands, it stays under control. Perhaps yours will shrink away on it's own, it is definitely possible.

You might want to try icing your foot after you work out. I have a small tumor on the bottom of my foot (on the plantar fascia), and icing helps decrease the discomfort after working out.

Good Luck,
Shelbygirl
