Circuit between PUB & PLB

I am using PUB/PLB recently. I would like to add circuit style workout in between them. Is it OK? Will I overwork my muscles?

IMO, doing a circuit (cardio and weights) workout between the two would be counterproductive, because it would cut into recovery.

Instead, do cardio between, or something like PLB/PUB each one a week (on "day 1" and "day 3"), cardio on two days (days 2 and 4) and a circuit once a week (day 5).
