Chin-Up Check-In Mon 4.3

DEBBIE...have a GREAT trip...what fun!!

Sooooooooooooosan perseverance is exactly right. And something I've been lacking lately, but this group is getting me back on track!! Just keep doing them!!

Catherine...I'll check out that site, thanks a bunch. I have checked out the Beachbody forum, but it's nothing like Cathe's group!!

edited to say: I just checked out that webpage and the address comes up, but then says it's not available. With Beachbody's history, I would worry that the fitness camp might be the samex( x( x( . Great idea though.

Okay Catherine, I just read the Videofitness review of the Tony Camp. Very interesting. When I was bored one day I jumped on BB's forum, I quickly realized that there was a huge range of people involved and it just wasn't for me. I love the intensity of the Cathe crowd...they LOVE TO WORK. I can't believe no one else showed up in the gym to work out with Tony, except that lady. If Cathe girls were there, the gym would have been packed. It sounds like a fun weekend, though and I'd go just to meet you and get in a good workout. Mostly..it would be worth it to receive the pointers in the gym regarding lifting. Keep me posted.

I read the review at VF yesterday - it sounded awesome! If I lived closer, I would go, but I'm in Virginia and it wouldn't be worth the long drive or the expense of a flight. If he ever comes to this area, I'd probably be up for it. Cathe's gym is about a 5-hr drive for me and very doable. Plus it's on the way to my parents' house. I would love to meet you, though, Catherine! (Loved the "poop" post!
:7 ) Do you think you'll go? How about you, Briee?

My elbows hurt after I do these (another reason I'm limiting my sets to one right now). Does this happen to anyone else? I also feel these in my shoulders big time, and when I first started, my core was sore for days, especially right between my ribs under my breastbone, although I don't feel it there anymore. It's obviously working the entire upper body.

I don't know how you all do these AFTER an upperbody workout!

Soooooooooooosan,
My elbows get a bit "tweeky" not painful, but just sore. These do work the entire upper body. And I am being very careful not to over do it!!

About the fitness camp. I know what you mean about the drive and $$ of flight. I live in KY and Chicago is about 6 hours away ( I think). But if I go, I am gonna fly. A treat to myself. Guess I'd best start saving!!

Briee,
I'll definately keep you posted about the camp.

Hi Gals. You're doing grrrrrreat!!!

Today had to be my rest day...kid's DR appointment out of town, which, of course, necessitated a little shopping. Good night.:)

I love hearing about your progress, Catherine! It's very motivating. Since it took you 3 weeks to get to 2, I'm curious to see how long till you get to 3. I think I asked you this before, but what body type do you have (meso, ecto, endo)?
