(But what idiotic people to just stand around filming while their cat is in danger. Sure, it turned out well, but it might not have. I guess if these people came across and accident, they'd get their cell phone out to take pictures rather than to call 911?)

The alligator wasn't really going for it; otherwise, I think the outcome would have been quite different. I certainly wouldn't stand idly by and see if *my* kitty could take on an alligator.

from some of the vocals, it sounded like this was a stray cat...still, what would they have done if the gator just attacked the cat? Idiots.

I was also upset to see people just stood around... I thought it was just the crazy animal lover in me.

I'm not sure the cat was a stray, since after it went over to the kid and seemed friendly. It would of been bad if the kid had to see something bad happen to the cat. -.-
