I decided to give poor Cathy and break and start the thread this morning. :)

I am not 100% sure of what my work out will be for today but I am leaning torwards tackling B&G again. I do not have a long run this weekend according to my training schedule so if I am limping for 3 days it's OKAY. :p

Cathy: 16 weeks of leg killing work outs? YEOWZAS!!! Have fun! }( You are a beatiful person inside and out. Stop being so self conscious about how we (other Catheites, the Cheetahs, etc) view you. We see you for what you are and any weight you may or may not want to lose make no difference to us. I totally understand your wanting to get in better shape, trust me. I understand completely! Just know that even if you never dropped another pound, it wouldn't matter to us one stinkin' bit!:+

Well, never mind, I won't cut & paste b/c I changed up the plan, anyway. I'm switching today and tomorrow's workouts to enjoy my last two runs of the week when it's cooler. Today'll be MM u/b split premix and some kind of cardio.

Wendy :: thanks :)...I was just really taken aback by that one pic and I think being surrounded by REALLY buff women is throwin' me off, ya know?...I really should look at a pic of myself in summer 05 to remember how far I've come. I may still have fat to shed, but to put it in perspective for myself, I have good cholesterol numbers, a low resting heart rate, I can lift heavy weights, run, do crazy-intense Cathe workouts :), and I can once again wear a smaller size than the average American woman, so I'm doing OK. I may not be as lean as I can be yet but I *am* fit...but ya know what? That RT pic is also maybe a needed kick in the butt that I need to work harder - more so on the eating end than anything else, I think.

Hi ladies,

I'm going to do Absolute Kickboxing today! I'm working from home and getting the laundry as a bonus:)

Wendy-B&G is great glute workout. I did it earlier this week and definitely think I need to add it in at least once a week. Bootcamp was great last night with sprinting and shuffling drills. Our last bootcamp class is next Thursday. If we at least 10 people we can get the class for another month. There's about 15 that are ready to sign up, myself included.

Cathy-your classroom looks cozy with futon right there next to the bookcase. Reading is so important and you've created a great reading environment for your students! I agree with Wendy, you shouldn't be so down on yourself. I for one have carried extra weight for most of my life. On the flip side, I excersise (almost daily) and eat a pretty healthy diet. So yes, the scale may not be to my liking-but I do not have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or any of the other health issues that many people have. Have you read Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle? It contains a wealth of information including positive self talk. I highly recommend the ebook. You are a wonderful person!

Nancy-I'm so sorry to hear your Mother's health is deteriorating {{{{hugs}}}}. I hope you and DH can get things back on track.

Hi, ladies...

I have been working on the computer all morning on school stuff and haven't worked out yet but had to come back and check out the chat on the Ask Cathe thread for a bit.

Diana :: enjoy Absolute KB!!...Every time I read about your BC class, I wish there one around here. Looks like you will have plenty of peeps for another round...Thanks for the compliments on my classroom and the general pep talk! As you can see, I needed one this week! :) Though I'm usually pretty steady, sometimes I can be overly critical of myself. I do have BFFM - have never read it cover to cover but I pick through it for information as needed. I should look at the self-talk section. Thanks again! :)

I just barely eeked out B&G's leg blast premix before the power went out on me this afternoon. I was never able to get to the ab work so I might do that tomorrow.

Off to bed with me now.
