Burned calories

I've been doing the 4DS for 4 weeks(this is my 4th week)and I've notice that every week that goes by I'm burning less and less calories.I did the KB/legs core last week and burned 526 calories when I did it again this week I only burned 415 calories. Is this because my body is adapting to the work out? I plan on doing 4DS for total of 6 weeks. Thanks
 
My guess is your body is adapting and you're getting fitter so your HR doesn't get up as high as it did the first time. Have you upped your weights?

I try to go heavier every time I do the workout to keep the intensity up. I was talking about this with DH last night. I still find the 4DS workouts as challenging as the first time I did them. I'm just using heavier weights. For LIS to keep it as aggressive, I bump my step up to 8". I still haven't needed to do that for HIS. ;) Bootcamp still kicks my rear and Kickbox also gets my HR up there. I can kick higher now, though. :)

You know I didnt even think about that. Especially with the 8 in step. Thats a great idea I will do that. As far as heavier weights The highest dumbell set I have are 20's which is good because that's the heaviest I can do when it comes to one arm rows and chest flyes wihout losing my form. Anyway thanks a bunch.
