Morning BB's,

Today is a day off for me, so I will be doing some stretching.

My boss and his wife will have pictures of their house in this Sundays Journal. It will be in the Encore section. They have been working really hard on restoring this house.

Great job to all those that have lost weight! We Buff Badgers are starting off the year on a great start. I will post my results from this rotation after this week is over. I have been noticing little things, but want to measure to make sure of results!

Cool on your boss being in the paper Sunday! I can't wait to see it. :) What city is the house in?

I did Jari Love's Ripped last night and was thinking it should have been called Repped instead of Ripped lol. SO many repetitions of everything! I think it's deceiving-I went light on the weights but with all those reps, my muscles were indeed "worked to exhaustion" on several of them. My triceps were shaking on the skull crushers. I think it's a little lacking in lower body and ab work, but I did like it and will definitely do it again.

On tap today........not sure. I've really been in the mood for Rhythmic Step, but I will be getting the first two disks of Amazing Race season one from Netflix today, so I'd like to watch an episode on the treadmill. I'm losing steadily without killing myself in workouts every day, so that might be it for today. Depends on how much work I get done I guess. No kids tonight, but LOST is on so I can't be working out then!!

Hey Laurie - it's Wednesday not Thursday! LOL!:)

Jill, I love Rythmic Step! The moves, the music - it's one of my favorites!

Bodymax is on the schedule today. I don't do this one very often so it's a nice change of pace! However after Muscle Endurance yesterday we'll see how my muscles respond!

The sun is shining here! It's nice to not have to turn lights on for once.

Hi Everyone!

I have to do a 9 p.m. workout today. DD has 2 hour basketball practice after school. :-( But she is doing great. scored 8 pts.on Saturday. She's 8 and this is her second year. I realy like Christi's Cardio Collectibles. I think I will do that With Jari's lower body and abs.

Jill, I agree with you on Jari's upper body. I wish she would switch movements more. It is good but I find myself getting a little bored with it. I will do the lowerbody and abs tonight. Haven't done that part yet. I like her, but I also find myself saying lets get on with it. My triceps were pretty sore yesterday.

I have really been watching what I eat. Now that I am working all day, I only pack healthy foods. I also am way too busy during the day to eat any junk in the office. I sure hope I lose a few lbs. soon. When I workout at night, I eat a small dinner and then I go right to bed after my workout. So hopefully I will start seeing some changes.

I am enjoying my video purchases, except Body Design, blech! I am think of sending it back to Collage and getting something else. I hear they take back bad purchases.We'll see.

P.S. It's cold here lately. In the 20's the past 2 nights. Only in the 50's yesterday! They complain it's too cold. I think it's refreshing.

Hi Badgers,

Last night I did CTX Kickbox and the abs of PUB. I must have a core made of mashed potatoes and gravy, because that abs section is a killer.

Good for the Buff Badgers who are losing weight! That's great. I feel pretty chubby now (jeans are tight) so I'm going to have to watch it with my diet more. I turned 35 this year and is it my imagination or is it just SO MUCH easier to pack on bits of weight now?? I feel like I yo-yo a lot more than I used to.

Jill - have fun watching The Amazing Race! I've watched a few seasons of that show, although I did skip this last season with the families. I watch "Lost" too.

Is anyone else excited about the Winter Olympics? I love watching the figure skating, speed skating, skiing. I hope Sasha Cohen kicks butt.

Hi Cythnthia, I thought Collage only let you return un-opened material? If I knew they allowed returns I'd order more often! What is Body Design anyway?

Well, last night we had volleyball (that counts for my workouts on Tuesday) and we won another game last night, and the other two we lost 14-16 & 12-15. My team is FINALLY improving. I have upped my push-ups I have been doing, and I could really notice last night. My first serve was like 5 feet out! It was really funny. I can tell my upper body is getting stronger, so that is fun.

I plan on weighing myself tomorrow also to see my progress. Even if the scale hasn't moved much, I know I am making some positive changes, so that is ok.

I am getting ready for Lost tonight as well. I love that show!

Susan, RS is my favorite Cathe step workout. I just love it. Enjoy Bodymax! And isn't the sun great! It's nice to have a reason to open the blinds in my office. :)

Cynthia-I don't mind doing a lot of reps as long as the weight is light. I can't keep up with Cathe yet, so it's a nice change of pace to be able to follow an instructor lol. Can you fall asleep okay working out late? I have a hard time if I start a workout later than about 6:30pm.

Sarah-I haven't seen a single episode of AR! A friend recommended it to me, and since she's the one that got me hooked on Lord of The Rings and LOST, I trust her judgement. I like to watch stuff like that on the treadmill or elliptical. And oh yeah, I totally have noticed it's easier to gain weight. And harder to lose! I'll be 40 on Feb. 7th. (!!!!!)

Robin-YAY for another v-ball win! Good job. That's funny about your serve. You don't know your own stregth lol. I'm such a LOST freak I tape it every week so I can watch it a couple more times before the next episode. I'm so glad that hideous 6-week hiatus is over! That was such a bummer. :) I don't watch much tv at all; LOST and Survivor and The Biggest Loser are about it. I'll watch Law & Order sometimes, but it's not like I plan to and know when they're on, like the other shows.

Now with these BL specials on at the same time as LOST, I have to tape both shows!

Wow, I'm late to the party this morning! :) Everybody must be up early. I am pretty proud of myself today because I woke up at 5:30, thinking I was just going to go to the gym tonight, but then I got up 10 minutes later and went for my run! I've been having such a hard time working out in the morning, so this is a small victory.

And way to go for everyone who has lost weight. I have been trying too, and I've been tracking my food intake on sparkpeople.com. Not really any significant weight loss yet though... as I've said before, I am weak to the power of chocolate, pizza, cheese — pretty much anything delicious that I'm supposed to eat in moderation!

Jill, I love the Amazing Race. I didn't know they put it out on DVD finally! Are there any extras, like commentary? They've been showing episodes each night on the Game Show Network too, so over the summer I got caught up on the seasons I missed. But, like Sarah, I didn't get into the families season. I'm excited for the next race! I'm a geek.

Robin, yay for an improving volleyball team! Sometimes all you need is the first win to get into a rhythm, I think.

Ya, I saw it after I logged out and couldn't change it. Guess I was hoping it was Thursday. At least I got the date right.

My MIL is going in for a CT scan on Friday, maybe I should take her place! They might find a brain full of mush! :D

Wow! A lot to read today but lunch is almost over so I better get on with it.

Laurie - Darn, I can't say ditto today.;-) (You were making my life so much easier since we're both doing the same rotation.) I've seen results in the mirror and a little on the scale but to be honest, my results would be even better if the diet was better. The last 2 weeks at least have been pretty good (except for the weekends).

Jill - Thanks for the reminder about Lost on tonight!

Cynthia - I don't think I'm ever too busy at work to eat. ;-) I always manage somehow. 50s sounds pretty darn good - it was 18 on my way to work this morning.

Sarah - I'm excited about the Olympics, too! Love the women's and couples figure skating but don't care for the men's.

Ellen - Good job on the morning workout. Doesn't it feel great knowing your workout is done for the day?

Robin - Yeah for your volleyball team! Good to see you posting again.

Today I did Muscle Endurance and 15 minutes of abs. It was a relatively easy day.

Still haven't received Cardio Party 1 from TJ. Emailed them last night and my status now says my local post office has been contacted by the shipper so I hope that means it will arrive soon.

Just stopping by for a quick post and to say Hi to all BBs!

I am still feeling my weight workout from the gym on Sunday but still did Project You Upper Body/Abs this morning. Last night was spinning and my lower body is feeling fatigued so am resting that.

Can any of you think of shorter Cathe strength training (premixes) that is still a good solid workout? I am not thrilled with Push/Pull and prefer ones that just use weights (dumbbells &/or barbell)rather than the band and ball.
