Karen - Hope the Inspector doesn't keep you waiting. Let us know how you like the new Traci. What's the name? I can't keep up with all the new stuff coming out.

Susan - Send some of that sunshine this way! It looks like it's going to rain down here.

Laurie - I've just been using the bag to practice my kicks. I used it for the focus paddle portion of Kickbox Strike Zone and it worked well so I'll do that again. Can't wait for Cathe's MMA workouts because I'm pretty sure she said she'd be using a bag.

Did BBC Chest cardio last night and that's all I had time for. DD needed help on a poster she worked all weekend on and then lost at school before it was time to hand it in! Luckily, another teacher saw her working on it during study hall so she won't get a late deduction if she hands it in today. She stayed up late working on it. She would have finished sooner if she hadn't come home dead tired. She took a nap from 3-6 p.m. when I woke her up for dinner.

Did BBC Shoulders & Back weights this morning. Dojo (hopefully) tonight so not sure if or when I'll do the cardio section.

Sue, poor DD. That's tough when you lose something you already did and have to redo it especially when your tired. This Tracey workout will have a dread factor like Amys because it is more difficult for me. A different kind of work. I guess I need more variety, I've become conditioned to work only the way Cathe does.

Laurie, LOL on your LOL. It is funny about hitting the chiro. I went back and re-read the post and it does sound like I was going to hit him. To funny. DD got the job at Culvers. She starts next week. She can only work on weekends because of track and until a child is 16 they can only work until 7:00.

Hi BB's,

Today is cardio of some sort. I am thinking of bringing my DD bike inside and putting it on my trainer. I need something tough and fun. I am at a lose right now what that might be.

Tomorrows workout will be a run and Sun I will take off because we will be visiting my mom and dad.

Tracey's circuit left me unbelievable sore in the legs, all over. The only time my hamstrings feel like this is after GS legs.

Hope you all have a Happy Mothers' Day. You all deserve it as you are all great moms, wives and daughters and friends. Thanks.

Karen, sounds like Tracey really did a number on ya! It's nice when we get tough workouts like that.

Today is Step Blast for me. I am also taking the dog on a long hike on a trail we have nearby. Hope to go for 1-2 hours. Saturday is the elliptical and Sunday is "off".

I too wish you all a Happy Mother's Day! Hope you enjoy it and can relax a bit!

Todays workout was Tae Bo Advanced Live #5. I have not done this workout in a long while, and had forgotten that it was mostly lower body work. But dang am I feeling it right now. :D I was thinking on my way to work, and it came to me that I should have done Cardio Kicks. I just might do that one when I get home. :D :D For some reason I wanted a good cardio this morning. Hopefully my legs will feel energized for my 6m run tomorrow. :D

Sue, I too will be waiting patiently for the MMA workouts. I will have to get another piece of equipment though. :7 :7 "Darn" :7 Oh your poor DD having to put all that work into it twice. Just glad she was able to submit it again.

Karen, Good for you DD, and the job. Culvers is a good place to work, but how is she going to resist that custard. :9 :9 I have heard that Tracey's circuit workout is a goodie. Will have to get that one. Did you get the core one too?

Sue, I bet Ruby will be exhausted after that walk. Bet she has fun smelling all the good smells though. :D That is one thing I wish we had more of around our area. I would have to drive to our trails, but maybe it is worth it.

I would also like to wish all of you a Happy Mothers Day, and I think that Karen really did say it best. And Karen! Those same words you typed, are also directed at you. :) I really couldn't say it better than what you wrote down.

Susan - Taking a nice, long hike with Ruby sounds great. Enjoy your weekend.

Karen - You and Laurie are tempting me into getting Traci's circuit. My lower body needs another workout like that. Culvers would be a dangerous place for one of my kids to work. Everytime Cookies & Cream came up on the schedule I'd be asking them to bring home a pint (or quart!). Love that stuff. :9

Laurie - Thanks for the reminder about Tae Bo. Those might work well in a hotel room - not too jumpy or space hoggie. Are you thinking of getting a bag? If the timing is right and our Dojo is selling bags again, maybe I can get one for you. They're much higher quality than what you see at K-Mart or Play It Again Sports. I really like the one I got. Of course, it would depends on how quickly you'd need/want to get it. I think it was February or March I bought mine so they wouldn't be for sale again until Feb/Mar 2009.

Good workout at Dojo last night. I was breathing hard like I do after a tough Imax interval! We had a super intense warmup, worked on sparring combos and then did 8 min. non-stop sparring. The instructor I was sparring kept telling me to "Keep moving, keep moving" and "Do combos" so I was huffing and puffing by the end of class. Super tired ast night (even before that Dojo workout) so I slept in this morning. Planning on doing cardio tonight (something fun like Karen). Maybe I'll do Joey's BBC cardio. Eye candy - that'll be fun! ;-) Tomorrow will be BBC Full Body and Sunday will be more cardio.

I'm at class in Oakbrook, IL next week and my internet access will be extremely limited. If I don't pop in to say hi, I'll talk to you all on the 19th.
