BUFF BADGERS 6/4-6/8

Sue, The chinese one is Relaxin, it only worked a couple of nights and not for very long. I tried Valerian from the health store and it seemed to make it worse. Everything affects people in different ways. The one thing I took before I tried these other two things was homeopathic tablets-sleep 500 tablets- you can get them through herbal healer.com. I know there is a brand in health food stores too. Don't know if there is a difference. They are not very expensive and haven't found anything else yet. I did order something from sleepeasy, they have a trial going on $3 on a month supply and you can cancel right when you get the trial order too. That is on it's way. Should be here today I would think. You could check that out for only 3.00. Other than that, I am sorry I can't tell you much more. If I think of anything else I will post again or e-mail you. I guess since he needs something quick, go get some homepatic sleep tablets at a health food store and see if they work. They can be taken with anything with no side effects. Hope he gets some sleep and you can catch up. Also, yoga is relaxing, forward bends as an add on. Don't know if it would work on it's own. Not for me anyhow.

Take care.

Morning BB's,

Today is suppose to be PlyoX, but I have a dance recital to go to for my neice. This one usually lasts about 2 hours, so I'm thinking I will not be getting home until late tonight.

Saturday if I don't get PlyoX in it will be that, and then on Sundy it will be Back & Biceps / B&G Stability Ball Abs and a Cardio Coach.

Sue, Sorry to hear about you DH's sleep. Man stress seems to be going around. Do you think it could be a virus. :) Hope he can find something to help him.

Karen, Did you DD have fun in the Dells? We are planning on taking the girls there this summer. They always have fun, and now they don't need Mom and Dad to be on the tube with them.

Have a great weekend,

Laurie

Karen - Did your DD get caught in any storms in the Dells or on the way home? Thanks for the info you posted yesterday for my DH. I passed it on to him and he was very appreciative.

Laurie - Stress might not be "catching" but I believe my stress over the past few weeks has defintely affected DH. Is today the last day of school for your DDs? It is for us. DD12 has a field trip at the zoo and DS10 gets to have a picnic and play games at the park.

Yeah! I got a workout in this morning!:) Went outdoors for a 4.5 mile jog/walk. Don't know what's on tap for the weekend. I need to sit down and come up with a rotation but definitely some weight training and ab work. Tomorrow is a company picnic and Sunday we're having DD's friends over for a Yu-gi-oh tournament and pizza party.

DH was able to sleep last night. We took a 2 mile walk and then did a short yoga routine together (first time ever!), he took his Rozerem, drank warm milk and wore ear plugs to bed. Hope this means his sleepless nights are over (being cautiously optimistic here).

Sue, Yep it is the DD's last day today too. They only have a half day, and then they are off to parties. Apparently this has become a popular thing around our area. My oldest DD has been invited to two of them.

Hi BB's,

Today I did All Pump Xtreme, the whole thing. Yikes is that a long workout. Tomorrow I will do CC and Sun. DH and I will go for a 3 hour endurance bike ride.

DD14 had a great time at the Dells. She missed all the storms. They were at Mt. Olympus.

Sue glad DH got some sleep. Have a great weekend and enjoy making a rotation.

Laurie, have fun at the dance recital. I went to one a couple weeks ago for a friend and it lasted 2 hours too. It was a long time to sit and watch all the classes do 3 different routines from each area of dance. Enjoy Plyo X and your CC.

Take care and enjoy your weekend.

Sue -
If your husband's insomnia doesn't resolve w/the Roserem, have him try Ambien. I suffer from insomnia myself and when I'm stressed, it can be extreme - where other medications simply don't work. Then I'm up all night and groggy from the meds, too. A wreck. I was prescribed Ambien (10 mg tablets - I will sometimes take just a half when I think I need just a little help nodding off). They work beautifully!! My worst case scenario I did take two, but that was only once or twice. They help you fall asleep, they keep you out all night and you wake up with no problem. Have your husband ask the doctor if he can try that instead. I'm now back on track and hardly ever need them (except for Sunday's to start the week off right ;-)

Thanks for the advice, NY25! I'll pass it along. It's always good to have a plan B in case the Rozerem stops working.

Hey, did you ever decide to move back to Wisconsin?

Sue
