Hi ladies!
I've had a really busy week! We finished clearing the trees and are setting up things for the pool, cement patio, shed, and tiki hut. DH is half finished with the additional fence. We’re right on schedule (DH’s schedule that is, lol).

I'll just post a recap of this week, I can’t remember the last time I posted:

Mon: Power Hour + 20 minute interval hill walk + abs
Tues: Ran 6+ miles (using CC Press Play) + 3 segments Core Blast
Wed: Rest
Thurs: Ran 6 miles (7 Yasso repeats) + Leaner Legs
Fri: MIS + extra abs
Sat: Ran 21 miles

This morning’s long run went very well, I felt great through all of it. I’m not that sore either which is nice. Oh, I’ve actually got thoughts of signing up for the JFK 50 mile race on November 22nd. I’ve printed out the entry form but have to give it more consideration. It’s about 4 weeks after the Marine Corps marathon and the distance to travel to it is about the same. I’d need another hotel and gas money on top of the $135 entry fee so it’s definitely food for thought. Anyway, just contemplating….I’d definitely need to step up the training if I decide to do it. It would mean back to back long runs on Sat and Sun and I’m not sure I can give that much time just yet (with family commitments).

Heidi – Great workout planned! Is your company still there or are you back to “normal.” :)

Belinda – I did a couple of the KPC & L&G premixes when I first got the set. They were pretty good! Enjoy. :)

Kathy: Your run was fantastic! Nice job during the week on your workouts as well. Your yard is going to be fantastic when you are finished!
My DH just planted more hydranga (sp?) outfront of the house. Our Kiwi plants are full with fruit. I can't wait for them to be ready! :9

I still have guests and they will be here for tomorrow's cookout. We decided to do our 4th of July cookout on Sunday because it has been raining here all week so far. I am looking forward to sunshine and getting things back to normal on Monday! ;-)

I hope that you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I am done with my workout! I really enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun!

What happened to Gayle,Stephanie and the rest?? Our group is getting so small!

Hi Belinda and all:

Just back from my walk in Ravenswood Park with DD and friend. Not sure how far we went but it was fun.:)

Belinda: I will have to give those Premixes a whirl sometime. :)
The kiwi plant will be loaded this year and you can eat skin and all on these. They are suppose to be sweeter than the regular kind found in the local grocery store my DH says. We'll see...I will let you know.

Hello and Good Morning to you all,

I am up early and having coffee followed by advil. Woke with a headache in my right eye. WEIRD!

Today will be cardio. Either a run or a step routine just not awake enough to decide.

Ohhh :eek: Big time DOMS in the upper body this morning!!!They started setting in late last night and this morning I can feel every inch of muscle hurting. }( I did GS C&T and went really light (10#,5#'s and 20#BB)focusing on form must have really helped.;-)

What are your plans for today? I have a cookout planned for family and friends so I better get going on my workout soon.

sorry i was MIA yesterday

We took the kids to the GA Aquarium yesterday and there is two words to describe the experience...Expensive and Crowded x(x(! There should be a limit on how many people they can sell tickets too( and im sure there is,they were close to it yesterday)i mean OMG :eek: We won't be going back,it wasn't worth the money:-(. oh, and if i could add the word Frustrating as well;-)!I can't even begin to describe all the crap we went through at that place. I filled out two comment cards}(

Today is LIC,i need to work it out with cathe today;-)
 
Good morning all!

Today is . . . haven't quite figured it out yet. I finally was able to get in a run yesterday morning. Then we spent the rest of the day getting things together for the guys to go camping for the week. They are now out the door and gone for the week. However, things to do to day include cutting the grass (they didn't get it done before they left and it won't last all week), cleaning up the guest room before my aunt comes to stay with DD and I for a few days, then getting the rest of the house cleaned up before my parents get here midweek with my sister's kids. And since I'm working this week, most of it needs to get done today.

On the bright side, I picked up some more puzzle mats for the basement, so now there should be enough to do cardio. I also got Jari Love Chiseled at the library for a change. Have any of you done that workout?

Now to scrounge up some breakfast.

Hi,

Just finished my workout.

iTread #5 indoor marathon. I did phases 1&2 only because I was feeling my day yesterday. ;-) This was tough enough!
I tacked on abs from B&G and stretch. Nice sweaty workout!

Amelia: That sounds terrible! I hate crowds in the worst way! I hope that you burn off that frustration with LIC. }(

Happy house clean-up! ;-) I know what you mean about having way too many things to do.

I went out shopping before the cookout with DD. She needed clothes for work and we were out for about 3-4hrs.

Just finished the cookout and I am ready to go to bed and it is only 5:30PM!

I am glad that you were able to get in that run yesterday. With all that is going on it is difficult to get in some workout time it seems for all of us.

Where are you getting your puzzle mats from?
I haven't heard of Jari Love Chiseled....yet ;-) I am not going to look! I am waiting for STS and I will be darned if I am going to buy anything more.

Oh...I wrote Gayle and she is just where we all are....busy,busy and even more busy. She says hello to all and will hopefully check-in with us all tomorrow.

Now for that clean-up and a nap.:+
