Hi ladies!
I've had a really busy week! We finished clearing the trees and are setting up things for the pool, cement patio, shed, and tiki hut. DH is half finished with the additional fence. We’re right on schedule (DH’s schedule that is, lol).
I'll just post a recap of this week, I can’t remember the last time I posted:
Mon: Power Hour + 20 minute interval hill walk + abs
Tues: Ran 6+ miles (using CC Press Play) + 3 segments Core Blast
Wed: Rest
Thurs: Ran 6 miles (7 Yasso repeats) + Leaner Legs
Fri: MIS + extra abs
Sat: Ran 21 miles
This morning’s long run went very well, I felt great through all of it. I’m not that sore either which is nice. Oh, I’ve actually got thoughts of signing up for the JFK 50 mile race on November 22nd. I’ve printed out the entry form but have to give it more consideration. It’s about 4 weeks after the Marine Corps marathon and the distance to travel to it is about the same. I’d need another hotel and gas money on top of the $135 entry fee so it’s definitely food for thought. Anyway, just contemplating….I’d definitely need to step up the training if I decide to do it. It would mean back to back long runs on Sat and Sun and I’m not sure I can give that much time just yet (with family commitments).
Heidi – Great workout planned! Is your company still there or are you back to “normal.”
Belinda – I did a couple of the KPC & L&G premixes when I first got the set. They were pretty good! Enjoy.
