Good morning!

MuscleMax lower body done - way too many reps or me today but I made it through.

Short and quick today. Have a great one!

Hi, Sherry. Good workout! I love MM and I THINK it's on for later this week for me! have a great day!

I'm sitting here, dripping all over my keyboard, so I'll make it quick! :) As Heidi suggested, I did iTread5, 60 minutes, indoor marathon training. I logged 5.5 miles and then tacked on the stability ball abs from KP&C. I'm literally just dripping here.

Time to take a shower and get everybody packed up for the day. We have school/baseball camp, then we're going to the AAA team baseball game tonight, and I'm looking forward to it!!!

So I MAY not be back online today, depending if the kids let me on the PC later!

OH! I made a new soup last night. I stuck it in the crockpot before I went to bed and woke up to a yummy-smelling home! It's Vegetable Barley Soup and will let you know how it is after I have some for lunch today. I got it from the latest Light & Tasty cookbook.

OK, later! HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!

Hello and Good Morning,

Just back from the train station. I didn't sleep well at all last night. I didn't get into bed until around 1am because my oldest DS was visiting and I had to drop him off. I don't think I fell asleep until around 3am. Then DH's alarm went off at around 5am. I got the best sleep inbetween his getting up and DS's alarm around 6am. Then again when DD came into to ask for a ride at 7:20am.
So...here I am with black circles and totally exhausted! I think I should just go back to bed for awhile.

Sherry great job on your PW last night and MM this morning! Have a great day! :)

Gayle: See...I told you that one was a great sweaty workout!!!}( Didn't you just love the hills!? Is one of your sons playing in the game tonight? The recipe sounds delish!:9

Today:
Rest
Cardio later this afternoon. DS has an orthodontist appointment today so it will be after I get back.

Have a great workout and day everyone!

Good Morning girls

Sherry-Awesome job with MM!

Gayle-great workout girl! Enjoy your evening at the bb game!

Heidi-i hope you are able to get in a nap today. I too didn't get to sleep unitl the early morning hours(around 2:30) it wasn't because i was up doing something constructive....DH and I were up late playing a new game on the nintendo Wii,LOL:+

Well were suppose to go fishing in a bit so im not getting in a workout this morning, except the usual thirty minute dog walk. maybe some cardio later, maybe not;-) im loving this rest/recovery week!! No stress about my weight workouts and when to get them in!

The only thing i don't like is the number on the scale lately, being up 5lbs since my last WI last week? My montly visitor just left so maybe its just water retention? I hope it is anyway,i haven't been that bad? kinda scary:eek:

Good morning girls,

After my coffee I will do Step Blast + 4DS KC/BC abs~

Sherry** MM is a tough workout! Great job making it through!

Gayle** I need to check that workout out! Sounds like a good one! Nice job! Enjoy the game with your boys!

Oh, Heidi! I hope you get a nap in or take a rest day today! I know how you feel!

Amelia** I was laughing at your post! You didn't get enough sleep because of Wii! Glad you enjoy your recovery week! I know I did last week! :)

Hi to the rest of the gang!
Belinda

Morning!

Great workout Sherry!

Gayle – Now I’ll have to load iTread 5 marathon on my player. :) Enjoy your busy day!

Heidi – I hope you get a chance to get some sleep later in the day….maybe a cat nap. ;) Oh, I get the RPM DVDs from ebay (or a seller on ebay). I love the music in the Les Mills workouts, they make the workout fly and the choregraphy always matches the music so everything just synchs up.

Amelia – Have fun fishing! Recovery weeks are nice, they give you a chance to step back for a bit and come back stronger!

Belinda – Enjoy Step Blast!

This morning I ran 6 miles using a combo of the following - CCV8 challenge 1, iTread 32 Flat & Fast, and finished up with CCV8 challenge 3. It was a nice combo of hills and flat fast running. I was tired so the run seemed extra challenging but I felt amazing when I was finished, like I’d pushed myself a little and come out on the other side. I think I actually get more satisfaction from these runs than from the ones that feel “easy.” It makes me dig a little deeper.

I got a blister on one of my toes from my long run on Saturday. My middle toe was rubbing the toe next to it and it formed a blood blister. I didn’t really feel it during the run (just mild discomfort) but when I took off my shoe there was blood all over my sock and shoe….ick!!! Guess I’ll be buying blister band aids during lunch, lol.

Oh, Kathy....I just checked the iTrain website and learned I have SIX credits! I've added set 32 to my collection, now to go and spen the other 5 credits! LOL

Kathy-I also forgot to comment to you about your 50 miler! Was is a 50 miler you were considering??? ARE YOU NUTS? :p HA! Just kidding, but I say GO FOR IT!!!!! You're rock solid, girl! I can't wait to see you in 2 WEEKS!

The soup I made, I just had for lunch. YUMMO! When I get the time, I'll post it here to share with you gals!

Gayle

Hi girls,

I am done with Step Blast + abs from 4DS BC/KB!}(

Kathy - awesome job on your 6 miler this morning! You are amazing, girl!

Gayle - enjoy your soup!

Of to the shower!
Belinda

Gayle – LOL, I have to convince DH first on the 50 miler. I’d love to do it (I’ve never been on the Appalachian Trail and there’s 13 miles of it included in the first part of the run). The timing isn’t good personally though because the race is on 11/22 and his birthday is 11/23 (not to mention that Thanksgiving is that week, too). Money wise, it’s a big investment that time of year with the high registration fee and the hotel for 2 nights. Plus I’m definitely running the Marine Corps Marathon the end of October (which includes a couple of nights in a hotel as well). Yikes, my “hobby” is becoming VERY expensive, lol! I may have to push the 50 miler out until next Spring (someone suggested another really nice 50 mile trail run that takes place in April). I WILL do a 50 mile race by the end of 2009, that’s my new goal! :)

I did iTread 32 this morning and enjoyed it very much. It’s a nice, steadily increasing pace run with some sprints at the end. I liked that that you had to run at least 22 minutes before the first optional rest and then you only rested between sprints toward the end. :) I wish she’d make more than one iTread a month, I only used 2 credits (of my 5…plus I still have a couple left from last month too). I was thinking about dropping my monthly membership but realized that the $9.99 a month for 5 downloads is still a better deal than buying ala carte! I’m looking forward to chatting with you in a couple of weeks. :)

Belinda – Great workout! How come showering always feels so much better after a nice sweaty workout? ;)

Kathy

Ok, I am trying to figure out my next rotation! Who is doing BFL and who is doing rotations? I need something to blast my legs! Any suggestions?

Kathy** a nice hot shower does make you feel better, doesn't it! I am tired today! I am tired of moving! Soon it will be over! I hope I can keep up with my rotation!
