Good morning girls,

Today I will try to do cardio and upper body! Hope I will get it all in today! I still have a lot of work to do around the house, it is still not the way I like it:mad:
I don't like how my DH set up MY workout room, I am afraid when I do my stepping/cardio I will drip over my weights:rolleyes: DH need to move the squat rack around to make more room for me!:p

Need to get moving! BBL!

Good morning girls!

Today is a run interval and a short brisk walk to make it a 45 min cardio. yesterday's C&W was just AWESOME...man i love that workout! I may be doing imax2 soon too!

I got done with my school work early yesterday and now im ahead:D I like being ahead;)

Belinda-I hope your able to get your workout room the way you want it today! How is your sister doing?

Melissa-Good job yesterday with HSTA....i may do that one this weekend!

Stephanie-Wine sounds divine right now, well make that tonight!:p I use to have a drink three nights a week before I started myfitnesspal and now its once a week:(

Heidi-Im sorry your Ds gave you such a hard time:( maybe today will be better! How is your DS?

Gayle-SURVIVOR tonight:eek::eek::eek: Im so excited! Did your ds give you those 10 laps yesterday?

hey to everybody I missed!

Hi, ladies!

Yes....DS gave me his 10 laps, but he's on the verge RIGHT NOW of earning himself another 10 today! LOL

SURVIVOR, baby!

Belinda-how IS your sis???

Amelia-I used to LOVE C&W but haven't done that one in ages. I may have to pull that out as soon as I'm in need of a change!

This morning, for me, was iTread 33 Extreme. 35 minutes. Then abs. What fun that workout is. Running to warm up, then jump rope, then 3 quick sprints. Then a huge hill walk then squats. Then more sprints, another big hill, and another sprint up a smaller hill that leads into a steady state run home. What fun!!! I didn't log a lot of milage (2.91), but it was a TON of fun and those hill walks got my glutes and hammies!

Enjoying my breakfast, then off the clean my friend's house and then school/work. Rain is due this afternoon, so I'm looking forward to a quiet evening with the kids!

Gayle

Hello and good morning to you all,

Ok....bad idea to have those beers after such a stressful day! A little red eyed this morning. 2 advil and LowImpact Circuit on tap for this morning. Might tack on a run...will have to see.

DS got up and out without a squeak this morning! Phew!

Gayle: I hope your DS can workout whatever is bothering him too! That iTread sounds like fun! Have fun housecleaning and enjoy your quiet afternoon.

Amelia: Nice job on C&W! That is really a fun one too! Great job catching up on your homework! That will make it easier to be ahead of the game. Have a great workout!

Belinda: We completely understand about all that stuff having to be unpacked. What a headache! You must be exhausted!

Great job Melissa on HSTA! I haven't done that one in ages! How are things going at work? How is your DD doing in school? I bet she has a great teacher which always makes things easier getting adjusted to the new routine. ;)

Hey Steph and Kathy: What are you doing today? Did you get in your workouts earlier?
I hope you both have a good day too!

Kathy: Is this the last weekend for a long run? Or are you in your taper period?

Ok...off to workout! BBL Heidi Make it a good one!

Morning!
Belinda – Awww, I hope you can get your workout room all sorted out and the way you want it!

Amelia – Great job on getting ahead! It’s so hard to be hitting the deadlines just in time (like what I’ve been doing this week, ugh). Enjoy your run intervals and walk today. The C&W step pre-mix is my favorite Cathe step workout, when I first got it I did it for about 6 months a few times a week, lol.

Gayle – I really like iTread Extreme too! The jump rope segments and sprints are fun and the entire workout just flies by. I’d love for Grace to do a whole hour of that type of workout. Oh, and we had Back to School night last night and the PTA President (although we call it something different) gave a pre-taped televised speech and I thought of you!

Heidi – I’m so sorry you had such a rough day yesterday. Kids! I’m sure it’s just as hard for them to adjust and find their place in this world as it is for us to watch. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this but my 17 yr. old has some learning disabilities and has been in both special ed and “normal” classes since kindergarten. I was pleased with his teacher’s comments last night, he really is a good boy with a huge heart (kind of like a big teddy bear, lol…..he’s 6’1” and about 200 lbs!) But I worry constantly about his future and what he’ll be capable of doing after graduation. :(

Hey Melissa! I’ll have to look for that hummus when I go to the grocery store. I’ve been hooked on the stuff since the Cathe RT, when they served it with Pita chips….yummy!

Steph – I hate sitting in this area all day, it’s noisy and hard to check in, lol!

I did Gym Style Chest/Back yesterday and I’m having a hard time moving my arms today, lol. For some reason, that’s the only weight workout that gives me horrible DOMS in my triceps (and I rarely get DOMS for some reason). I slept in this morning, I couldn’t get up! Long runs do that to me, I don’t feel them until mid week. I’m so happy I only have a 8-9 mile run this Sunday (my final 22 mile run is the following week, yikes!)

Kathy

Hi,

Just finished LIC! That was a great workout! Felt the triceps burn! I had all I could do to finish up with the abs!

Hi Kathy! Nice job on your DOMS from GS C&B! I guess I should get back to S&H and GS series. I have been doing a lot of full body workouts lately.
I was feeling pretty tired yesterday after Monday's stressful day and then again yesterday morning. I am so glad that today went better!
Your son sounds like a nice kid. What grade is he in now? My son is in the 8th grade and doing pretty well. He is just very stubborn and doesn't want to go to school. I think maybe he is just bored and needs more of a challenge. I will be meeting with his teachers next month.

Well it is that time...off to work.
BBL Heidi Have an awesome workout and day!

Heidi – My son is in the 12th grade. I have a child study team meeting tomorrow (which includes my son) to discuss his future plans. He may try vocational school or continue on in a special ed school for a couple of more years where they have a work/study type of program. It’ll be like on the job training where he’ll learn work skills and earn minimal pay but it’ll prepare him more for the “real” world. I want him to decide what he wants to do (it’s his life after all), and he knows he can live at home indefinitely. We love him and are in no hurry for him to leave! Gosh, he’s still my baby even though he’s almost twice my size, lol. ;)

Oh my, eighth grade is tough! They’re trying to show more independence but at the same time they want parental approval. Wow, my daughter went through some tough, tough years about that age (14-16 yrs old). But as you know from your other children, they do find themselves and turn out just fine. (((big hug))) Hang in there Heidi, it’s going to get better! I hope you have a better day today.

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Thank you! I just have to be thankful that none of my children went the way of drugs and alcohol!!! This too will pass....

You are right about letting your son choose for himself. It is their life and all we can do is guide them and show support to whatever they decide to do. If it doesn't workout...it will be another learning lesson. There is always something else to try so I don't believe in failure. If you first don't succeed...try try again right? ;)

And yes...your kids no matter how old they are they will still be your children. ;) We just have to as parents learn to let go. :)

One more day left in this week for school....I hope it ends well. ;)

Take Care,
BBL Heidi
