You are tempting me Kimberly with Leslie's new workout. But I live in Phoenix and have no excuse not to walk outside. It hasn't even rained in 95 days now, and its like 65 to 70 every day...
I am sore this evening. This morning I did the KPC combos only premix. I've never done the combos right after the warmup and so I could really punch and kick a lot harder. In fact, this workout is now my highest calorie burner, even more than the intermediate and high intensity drills premix. Right after that (I skipped the abs) I went into Karen Voight's Total Body Training DVD. It uses a ring but I was able to modify. Lots of butt and hamstring work and inner thigh, as well as good abs. Karen really works the backside of your body much better than Cathe IMHO. So, I am really thinking about buying the DVd/ring from her website. Collage had a lot of good reviews of this one and results too. I need to change up my leg routine. I hate the heavy squats and lunges and they are doing nothing but bulking me up looking like a speed skater. I think I'm going to go radically different for lower body. Mostly kickboxing, floor aerobics (stepping even bulks me up), walking and floor legs.
