I was wondering how the Cathe fans feel about barre type workouts? Do they have their place in a fitness rotation? I know stretching and yoga is important, so I'm just referring to the barre toning type workouts.
They can't build significant muscle to boost metabolism or "shape" the body, so are barre workouts better for thin and skinny people that just want to firm up? Has anyone achieved a better shape through barre workouts rather than regular weight training? How about the Squeeze workouts? I don't think one could get the muscle Tracy Effinger has just from Squeeze, they would probably need some heavier weight work, so do barre workouts add something to regular strength training?
