Anyone tried LED light therapy?

This is the new thing in skincare. My botox doc has something called "GentleWaves" that is supposedly for people like me--starting to get wrinkles & age spots but not yet ready for a major procedure. The LED light stimulates collagen growth, plumps up the skin, regenerates new skin so allegedly reduces fine lines & skin discolorations (can you tell I'm skeptical?).

I'm interested in reviews as it's pretty new & I can't find anything through Google other than a product description (which of course is stellar--something like 60% of those who used it saw results). It appears relatively inexpensive compared to other procedures. I'm thinking it might be a nice little Xmas gift for MEMEME! ;-)

I think I saw a write up on this machine in a recent issue of Vogue. The writer's assignment was to test out home versions of dermatological equipment/ prescriptions etc. She had already tried the doctors office version of the Gentle Waves machine and LOVED IT!! Couldn't believe what a difference it made and how quickly. (BTW, she said home version was pathetic.) HTH! (I'm pretty sure it was Vogue, but maybe InStyle??)

Verdict? Merry Christmas to you and tell us all about it!

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

It was Vogue. I read the article too. It said that right now home versions are not as good but they are getting better. I would save your money on the home version and just go in for the procedure if you are gonna do it.
