Anyone training for a fall Half Marathon?

A few months ago, I decided to register for my first Half Marathon, the Long Island, Run Like a Diva Half Marathon on October 2nd. (Disclaimer: I don't consider myself a Diva in any way, shape or form, but this seemed like a fun event. It's 'ladies only' and hey, you get a feather boa, a tiara and hunky firemen greet you at the finish line with a rose!!).

I ran another all ladies event in June, the NYRR 10K Mini. I was running with top-of-the-foot-pain-and-possible-metatarsal-stress-fracture (dumb, I know) so I didn't do as well as I hoped but I finished and I still had fun. I've been doing spinning and yoga since that race, but I'm going to start training for the Half tomorrow (foot pain is completely gone). This morning I did Cathe's Muscle Max to get the ball rolling. I feel pretty excited but also nervous because I've been on a running hiatus.


Anyone else training for a fall Half Marathon? I'd love to swap/share training ideas!
