Anyone else under-estimate Low Max?

Maybe it's the "Low" in Low Max that had me fooled from the get-go, but this workout isn't easy! I don't know if it's the 8-inch step or what, but I totally under-estimated this one!!!! I have a hard time getting through it.

Me too! I just pulled it out the other day thinking that I needed an "easy" workout. HA HA! Was I the fool!

For some reason, I think this is the toughest. It just really gets me, and I have a very strong low body. I always do it on an 8inch, and that might be it, but WHEW! This one is a groaner for me.

I think so too. I really feel sluggish when doing this compared to Imax 2 which I thought was the toughest. I feel so pumped when I'm doing Imax 2 and I thnk that carries me through alot of it.

I thought Low Max would be a breeze. Maybe it's the pace or low intensity of it. I don't know. It certainly is challenging!

Seeing that Low Max was my very first Cathe, and it took me almost 2 months (only doing it 1x/wk, though) to actually get through it without stopping and with no riser, I don't think that I will ever under-estimate Low Max. I purchased in last January, and I am just now being able to get through it with 1 riser!!!

I agree!!! I have seen a lot of posters refer to it as an easy workout and it always surprises me. I can now do IMAX 2, but there is a dread factor with Low Max. Maybe because it is so long. I do it on an eight in step and my legs are exhausted the rest of the day. I have been doing the premixes so that I can fit in a Core Max afterward and am sometimes short on time in the mornings before work. The premixes are about 45 minutes and are a great workout too!

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who finds Low Max intense. Not only cardio but I also feel like I got in a great leg strengthening workout.

Yes,

It is very hard. I'm doing it in a couple of days.

I did this workout on Monday and boy did it remind me that it remind me that Low may be lower body, because it definitely got a workout. My legs ache after this workout.

I did Low Max this morning and I was dripping with sweat. Burned 465 calories according to my HR monitor. That's about 100 more than I burn with IMAX2.

I don't have Lowmax but it's next up on my purchase plan. Most of you know of my love affair with cardio (note the sarcasm--lol!), so, whad'ya think? Can I do this one or is that just too rediculous for words?:p :7
