All you race/power walkers - shoe suggestions please

Santa offered to loosen his purse strings and buy me a pair of walking shoes - any suggestions for a good brand & type?

I'm currently getting good use out of a pair of Saucony Hurricane 7s. Before that I used to use New Balance almost exclusively, but always had problems with blisters with them. This time around I went to a running store that analyzed my gait, and it made a big difference. Also, I don't let anyone fit me in plain old walking sneakers--those never work for me and my feet. I find that running shoes are much better. Might be different for you, obviously, but it's a thought.
