All things in Moderation 1/15, Sunday!

Ok I 'll start today sine I am up early and planning menus!

B- hot oat bran cereal w/ soy milk coffee
S- apple, seltzer
L- greens & beans
S- probably BFL bar
D- depends on what DS wants for 'last dinner' (didn't make his stir fry last night)

I am stumped for ideas.Perhaps I should check out our Cathe cookbook. I'd be happy to put a nice aromatic meal in crok-pot for later, but I don't think my family is in the mood for that.

I've stayed on track. After dinner in the evening I've kept my urges limited to either 3 hershyes kisses or a cup of hot chocholate. I find it hard to limit my amount of ice cream ( a favorite snack) even if it is no sugar added low fat. I'm staying away for now from those
temptations.

Have a moderate day !

Hi Judy!

I highly recommend the Pasta Fagiole from the Cathe Cookbook. It's absolutely delicious and incredibly easy.:)

Today:

B - mixed cereal with soy milk, 1 piece flax toast with pb and organic apricots
S - apple, almonds
L - bean burger (no bun), lettuce, tomato, avocado
S - protein shake
D - we're going out to a Vietnamese restaurant, and I will have the Tom Yum soup (spicy broth with rice noodles and seafood)

Workout today is a six mile run, shoulders and core.

Have a great day!

Morning.
B - kashi cereal w/raspberries, blueberries, soy milk, half banana
L - split pea soup, slice pumpernickle bread, carrots, apple
D- large salad, yogurt
S - grapes, half banana
Workout will be something aerobic. Maybe RS. See you tomarrow.

Good morning... I did well at Cheesecake Factory yesterday. I got the Asian Chicken Salad. The only thing I messed up on was not considering how many calories those rice noodles they piled on top have!! Also DD and I were out so late, we stopped at Chick Fil A and I got a charbroiled chicken club and I ate the waffle fries!!! As a result, I have another big calorie day but amazingly my fat intake was at 20% and my protein and carbs lined up well also. Back to three deficit days today. I weigh in on Tuesday but sneaked a peek this morning and it was up a little but not bad considering I took in a lot of sodium yesterday and my water intake was very low compared to what it usually is.

I don't have my menu planned for all day yet but breakfast went like this...

Br - my version of egg mcmuffin using egg beaters, 1 pc of turkey bacon and a whole grain light English Muffin with 2% cheese, oatmeal w/blackberries, coffee w/creamer

Sn - sw. pot. protein smoothie

Bought a lot of groceries last night and may make the couscous salad dish that has feta cheese, chickpeas, tofu, spinach... etc....:9

DH is here and of course I'll have to throw a side of beef or something is way. He'll freak if I served him this!!! He hates chickpeas, couscous, tofu. He's allergic to anything healthy. *sigh*
I sneak it in on him when I can, but this dish would never fly!

Have a great day!

We're in the middle of a snow/ice storm and I'm hoping it clears because my mother is taking the kids for an overniter tonight so DH and I can go out to dinner!

B-1 cup of blueberry cereal/two turkey sausage links
S-apple, sunflower seeds
L-grilled chicken on greens/lt dressing
S-I'm making a pot of soup so I'll have some of that
D-haven't decided where we're going to go. If I get something bad, like fried clam strips at my favorite seafood joint, I'll only have a few, then bring the rest home and freeze em.

I think I'll do a circuit workout today. Weights are on the schedule, but I want to get some cardio in because of tonight's dinner.

Have a great day!
