Advice not fitness related

Why am I always seeking advice, support, etc. for such heavy stuff? One of my very dearest friends is in trouble with prescription medications. Really serious trouble. If anyone has advice or experience, please PM or email me. I don't want to get into the details on a public forum but it is tough love time. I'll take her ticked and healthy over the possible alternatives.

Oh, and please pray for her and her family. If you don't pray, keep them in your thoughts.

Autumn, you and your friend will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers. It would be hard to give advice without more details, but I'm a believer in the tough love approach, especially if your friend is a fellow nurse or some related field.

Autumn, intervention is always appropriate because denial is always their first reaction. Some states even have peer assistance programs. I don't know if that helps.

Thanks ladies! I am sorry I can't get into the details. It is a legal mess, so that is my reason for not discussing the details on the forums. I have already "met" a forum member from this neck of the woods and never thought that would happen.

I'll have to check out the peer assistance programs.
