I've now lost 17 pounds since February from doing STS along with upping cardio intensity and am very pleased with that. However, I'm now getting pretty skinny looking everywhere except the belly. The belly has been a problem only since I hit menopause-before that I always had a flat stomach and large hips/thighs. I don't want to lose any more weight unless its belly fat! I'm 5'5" and now weigh 127 pounds. I followed the diet guidelines from the prevention flat belly diet book, and upped cardio intensity after reading that intervals preferentially burn ab fat. I did lose proportionally all over about 2 inches. Any advice on targeting the belly specifically? Someone who has conquered menopause belly fat would be awesome to hear from.
