? about posting placement

Hi everyone!

I just have a question about posting. When there is a long thread and you want to reply to a particular post, how do you do it so your response appears directly under the person you are posting to? Does that make sense? I have tried to respond to messages and choose "reply" on that particular post but many times it still falls down to the bottom or some other obscure place.

I know, JJ. I think it's a board flaw. Or maybe several people are posting at the same time. Anyway, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think the best way to deal with it is to quote the portion of the post you want to respond to at the beginning of your post, so that everyone will know what you're responding to.

Thanks Nancy! I thought maybe I was doing something wrong because I have seen other people post this way. Great tip...from now on I'll include the quote to which I'm responding in case it ends up in the wrong place.
