Hi;),

I was hoping some of this educated crowd would fill me in on what are the good HRM's that are not too expensive or complicated to use. We just got a Nordic Track Commercial Treadmill and I've just discovered Cardio Coach. I'd like to learn more about HRM's because from what Coach Sean says it would really help me get the most out of my workouts by training in the 80-90% of my Maximum Heart Rate. I'm very new to HRm's so feel free to give me tips, advice, and info. Its all very welcomed and always is appreciated. I look forward to everyone's reply.

Thanks!;)

Hey Nora! I don't know much about HRM either and I am very interested in everyone's replies to your questions so I am hoping to bump this up!

HI guys!!! I just bought the Polar F6 and LOVE IT! I had one a few years ago, but ended up selling it only because I was getting to addicted to the numbers! :) But, I missed it enough to buy another one. So this time I bought another Polar...the F6. I tried one by Timex but the calories burned were WAY WAY off. I know from past experience that I burn around 100 calories per mile I run.....but this Timex one told me I burned twice that. So I returned it and picked up the F6. It's easy to use and looks good enough to use the wrist 'receiver' as an everyday watch. It cost me about $110 at Dick's, but I had coupons so it made it cheaper. It has the chest strap, which, in my opinion, is one of the things that makes it the most accurate.
