A girl I know wants to know Is it ok to do weights after doing a Cardio/Weight

training session? For example if she does a video that combines cardio and weights (The Firm)(which she uses light weights 3 to 5lbs), is it ok to lift weights after the session or the next day? She uses heavier weights doing her weight training sessions.
 
I'd say it depends on whether 3-5# is moderate weight or above for her, or if the weight is combined with high reps. If so, then I wouldn't do weights the following day.

If she's sore at all (any DOMS), then no.
