6 to 3

So, there are a lot of posts on people who went from eating 3 meals to 6 meals and liked it. I wanted to know who has gone back from 6 meals to 3 meals or tried 6 meals and hated it and went back to 3. If you switched back do you have a positive results from doing this? just curious.

I couldn't imagine going back to eating 3 meals a day. I need to eat a lot to not be hungry in two hours and when I stuff myself I am miserable. Big meals make me tired, grumpy and I hate, hate, hate, feeling stuffed. 6 smaller meals a day is perfect for me.

the reason i ask is b/c i'm starting a pt clinical rotation and i may have to do this for a month b/c the clinic i'm going to be at is EXTREMELY busy and during a rotation i'm not going to be able to take a break to eat and people will catch on if i'm taking a bathroom break everyday at the same time. so i wanted to know if anyone still does this.

I agree with this.

I don't really know what to suggest, but I hope you can find a way to make it work!

You could take some easy-to-grab snacks (raw nuts, fruit, larabars, etc.) to eat between your 3 main meals, possibly making them a bit bigger than you currently are, and your other 3 meals a bit smaller (more like 3 meals and 2-3 snacks...which is another way of doing the 'eat 5-6 times a day thing).

You really don't even have 5 minute breaks?

Can you gnosh a handful of nuts or trail mix while going from one patient to the next?

What about some dried fruit & jerky?

How about a smoothie drink?

(Just trying to think of a few 200 calories snacks that would suffice between your three meals).

Hope you figure it out. :7
