Good Morning all,

Today was I-Tread 40 minute walk/jog.. the more I do these the more I find that I like them. Burned 281 calories and am down another pound! Yeah! and with being on vacation, that is really good for me. I didn;t eat a lot of junk, even though we ate out 2-3 meals a day.

Linny:
Good to hear you are getting some relief from the hive situation, even though not 100% yet. Is Powermax a step workout? or circuit of some kind? Congratulations and ^^^^5's^^^^ on the job!

Garance:
I think I will try to catch the Dance show as there was a young man from here on it and actually in the finals.. not sure if he is still in or not. I also like parts of the More magazine, but not enough to susbcribe.. lots of things I had no interest in so I buy them from the newstands when they have something that peaks my interest on the cover.

Have a great day!;-)

Hi, Deb and later posters--

Today I did Supersets, the double upper body premix. I like this premix until I get to the concentration curls, which seem to take forever--especially when you do them twice.

I watched So You Think You Can Dance last night. I thought all four finalists were incredible. I don't know how anyone can vote for just one. They are all so talented. I guess tonight we will find out who wins.

Powermax is an all step workout. It's one of Cathe's oldies--when she was still doing pretty dancy cooldowns.

I saw a feature on the Pacific Coast Highway this morning on the Today show. It really made me want to rent an RV and spend a couple weeks driving and touring--so beautiful! I guess I am mourning the last few weeks of summer before school starts again. Sigh!

Have a great day, everyone!

Happy Thursday, All,

Yesterday, I had a doctor's appointment after work. I could have worked out afterward, but DH said ``Hey, while we're in this part of town, let's go out to eat at - '' and he started naming good restaurants. Guess what I picked? Yep, pigging out over working out.

Linny, I enjoyed the Christi Taylor CIA, but she is definitely hard to follow in her earlier years. The last 3 years she has been putting out DVDs that are much more intermediate than complex choreography-wise.

garance, yes, I'm in Houston. Today, we are dealing with Tropical Storm Erin - streets and freeways are flooded all over the place, bayous are over their banks - I refuse to spend the night at work!

And, yes, after today I will turn my attention to Erin's big brother Dean - he could really do some damage if he comes this way.

If I make it home tonight, and don't have a grandchild sighting, I plan to do TLT Better Burn . . . Better Buns with Tracie Long.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Hi Ladies:
Deb: What is I-Tread? Is it a motivatioal tape you listen to when working out? I have a Spinning bike, would it work with it? Thanks for the congrats. I actually went to lunch with my neighbor today who works with the hospice part of visiting nurses. She answered alot of my questions. Garance is right about Powermax, the cooldown is pretty dancy.
Garance: I rode PCH in April of this year. It was beautiful. We pulled over many times to take pictures of scenic views. We had to stick our feet in the ocean,so my husband could say he had his feet in the Pacific Ocean than the Atlantic Ocean all in one day.
I'll check in later.~Linny~

Jen: I must have posted same time as you. Didn't mean to snub you. Our prayers are with you, hopefully Dean won't come your way.~Linny~
