Today was ME upper body pre-mix. I am down another pound! Yeah!

Sorry to hear about your diabetes. At least you have a good doctor that is trying to help. I am surprised that SNM's lack of customer service on the DVD's. Not sure if I mentioned that I got that same Tamilee stretch dvd from Ebay.. it has not come yet but I am looking forward to it. Do you like Cardio & Weights? I could never get the step part down so I sold it on Ebay.

Sounds like you did a lot with those 2 workouts.. "lower impact does not mean lower intensity" Wow 20 pounds.. keep us posted on this one. I am wondering what you do differently depending on your blood type. Good to hear your hives may be subsiding..

Hi Deb and the rest of the Ladies,

I'm back from vacation and I'm swamped with work. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it.

I had a great time in Cabo and have a nice tan. I don't have to wear pantyhose for a while. I did gain some weight during my trip and will be working out hard to take it off.

I went to the sand dunes on Sunday and yesterday I went spinning.
Today I will be doing my cardio Coach at lunch.

Josie: Welcome back energizer bunny:) I'm glad I can't see you, I'd be so jealous of your tan. It must be nice not needing panyhose.
Deb: Congrats on the weight loss. My scale keeps going up instead of down:-( My labs show I'm either midway through menopause or postmenopause. I can't believe I'm post,I just stopped my periods this past May.Regarding bloodtype diet~ My blood type is A+ so I shouldn't eat meat only chicken,turkey or fish. I should only drink soy milk,certain fruits and vegetables I need to avoid. I'm changing a little at a time.
I did some job shadowing today. Very interesting! Went and saw a man with an aterial wound, watched nurse change dressing. Then a woman with an ostomy and a stomach wound that had some tunneling. The body is an amazing thing. I go friday to talk with manager of visiting nurses to see what we have to do next to move along. We really hadn't talked money, insurance,time off etc; I guesss that we'll be friday.I've got to go shopping, I'll check in later.~Linny~

Welcome back, Josie! You must have some great legs, Lady - I can't ever go without pantyhose because I have so many varicose veins my legs look like a Rand-McNally Road Atlas! I got my first varicose vein at age 11. I've had the worst ones stripped, so I no longer deal with pain, but my legs still look yucky.

Linny, yes, I take insulin. I give myself shots and stick my finger to test my glucose level all day long. Sometimes it gets old and I throw myself a pity party, but I try not to invite anyone else!

Deb, another pound, woo-hoo! I really enjoyed Cardio and Weights, but a lot of that has to do with the great music. I do a lot of modifying with this one - I don't do any of the turns, pivots, etc.

Tonight, I plan to do part 1 of Christi Taylor's Hi-Lo Heaven, then part 3 of Tamilee's 10-minute stretches.

We are on the same boat regaring weight. I'm tempted to get the Nutrisystem meal deal that they show on tv. What do you ladies think?

hi everyone, been awol for awhile. been working out, just busy.

josie or linny, which one asked? my sister gave me a bunch of nutrisystem food, and i thought it was pretty gross.x( the portions are really small, basically tasteless, i thought. she couldn't eat it. she has crohn's and she thinks it really irritated her colon. she got pretty sick for awhile. not necessarily cuz there was anythign wrong with the food. ithink it was some of the stuff in it. she also gave me her firm shakes cuz of one of the ingredients in them. now , ilove those!!

i can't remember what all i did last week. but, sunday was firm's new tight buns & killer thighs, then JFbuns.
monday was firm's total muscle shaping.
today was tracie long's core cardio.

what are ya'll doing for august? think i'm gonna start it out with tracie's core strength.
