    Praise be to food journaling!!

I've resisted doing it for years. Well, doing weight loss "my way" has only gotten me more out of shape. So now, I've made a committment to food journal for 52 weeks. I've made it one week so far and I'm down two pounds. Of course i exercised and ate well. I've kept my calories around...

    Tread Climber

I heard the same thing. More moving parts- more things to break. In a fitness magazine I read that an eliptical trainer burns the most calories. Of course, they weren't comparing it to a tread climber, just to stationary bikes, treadmills and stair steppers. Danna

    Does anyone have curly hair?????

I so appreciate this thread. I'm a curly head that looses it's bounce. Fine hair too. Finding a good style is such a challenge. I took the suggestion about the Kerastase and got the shampoo and conditioner on Ebay for 15 bucks. I'm very pleased. I've tried using KMS and Redken curly hair...

How often do You have to eat?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. i'm going to have to really play around with this. it is a far cry from my regular eating habits seven years ago....junk, junk and a side order of junk! Ever since I started with The Firm and doing BFL, it has helped me learn to love and crave good foods...

How often do You have to eat?

I did it. I ate perfectly clean for one whole day. I'm very proud of myself and I'm happy that I feel good and my energy is a little better than yesterday. My biggest problem is that I get hungry every two hours. This is what I had: Myoplex with TB of Peanut Butter Apple and PB Salad...

Stuck in a gym contract. Advice??

I have to agree with the moral high ground. Your gym contract is the same as if you had a mortgage on your house. Can you imagine a bank being understanding about your not being able to make your house payment? I don't think so. You could kiss your credit goodbye. Think of it this way. If...

    Inspiring quotes

i thought it would be neat to post the quotes that inspire and motivate. I have a new one from Lance Armstrong. He was commenting about his training practices. "When it's pouring rain and you need to go out and ride in the mountains for six hours, there's no fun doing that. But that's what...

    o/t awesome manicure

I don't know how many are into a good manicure. I have fiddled around with finding good polish for years. I finally ran across the Essie brand. Just as an experiment, I got everything. The base coat, top coat and polish. Holy cow! Put all three together and it wears like iron! I've never...

    SSRI's and weight gain

I thought about the exercise factor when i was reading about the side effects. They didn't include that information. If anything it is alleviating the anxiety and the need to drown my stress with food. i'm encouraged by your posts. Thanks for the feedback. Danna

    SSRI's and weight gain

Hi everyone! I'm hoping to get some feedback about anti-depressants and weight gain. The research I have read is mixed. Some people report weight loss in the beginning and then have weight gain in the long run. Some information suggests that SSRI's mess with your metabolism and they can make...

    Buff Olympians

I've been comparing physiques and I think that i admire the beach volleyball girls the most. They are completely ripped all over. I'm amazed at some of the swimmers too. The men are incredible, of course, they seem to me to always be totally ripped. The women have always seemed to have...

I remember browsing the web last year and coming accross a site that listed different video rotations. They had rotations for Tae-bo, Cathe, The Firm, Pilates, etc. Rotations for strength, endurance, weight loss, flexibility. I would LOVE to find that link again. Does anyone know if one...
