- My Success Story
- I wanted to be lean and fit when I was a teenager many years ago. I specifically, remember wanting to be a cheerleader but the coach implied I was too fat. I was always athletic but didn't know anything about getting leaner, fitter and stronger.
I began taking 'dance aerobics' in 1977. After I got married I began my own classes because we were stationed in a small town in southern Texas. I was very successful. My success was due, mostly, to my empathetic nature and my drive to lead quality workouts. I've been teaching for over 30 years and feel I have the best job in the world! I've been asked how long I can keep teaching? Ha, I guess I will continue until I die ;0)
