    Socializing & Cathe Time

The resort has a very large/open area right past the check in. It's a bar at night and has a large wall of windows looking out on the pool. I think this is the most logical place to hang out. The coffee shop/snack cafe is right there, you can get drinks at the bar, and snacks, etc. Or you can...

Glad I'm not a Hollywood gal

I think it's cyclical rather than a straight trend from 'average' to thin. Hollywood and fashion are fickle. A History of Skinny Models | On This Day In Fashion

Jillian's New 90 day workout system

I had the same thoughts. I actually like the split approach she used in her earlier workouts, I just didn't care for her on-camera personality on them. I think her more recent workouts are much better. In her prior round of podcasts and in her books, she often talks about the front/back...

    Fly to Chicago or Wisconsin

Googlemaps puts it at an hour and 23 minutes. I think it could easily by 90min and possibly more depending on when you are driving. Not to mention the time to just get out of the airport itself and get a car. It's a tradeoff - like you said.

HELP! I need to make a decision about this Chicago Road Trip

My family and I have stayed at that resort. It's very nice and if anyone is thinking of bringing children, there is another hotel on the property that has an indoor waterpark (Timber Ridge Lodge) and they often schedule kid activities like movie night or games. There is also a stable on the...

    AM workout/what to eat???

Agree, agree. Yogurt or any dairy would make me sick first thing in the morning as would any large volume of liquid. I also prefer a little banana or part of a think thin bar. Lately though I've been doing STS weight workouts on an empty stomach with no problem. I run in the...

Important info on 'natural' foods (watch)

It is hard - trying to eat 'in season' helps and frozen produce can sometimes be more economical too. My sons inhale berries and it can get expensive! I've been pushing the apples lately since they are so abundant and less expensive.
