I am so glad someone started this thread!
I was just discussing this with the members of my check-in.
I need a smilie for nearly every paragraph that I write, and I tend to write a lot of paragraphs

I've been under great stress rationing my emoticons.
We, too, in the Hate check-in would be grateful if you could take the limit off the smilies!

OH MY GOSH!
This reminds me of the Taxi episode where Danny DeVito's character needs to figure out how much money to ask for to be compensated for having his apartment get burned down....he doesn't want to ask for so much that it makes the giver pull back, but he wants to get as much as he possibly can!

I'm a very expressive person. I think 10 - 15, maybe 20 or 25, or even 30 would be good. And if you could, someday (I know you're busy with more important stuff right now), add more smilies to the forum besides the standard 11 that are here, that would be so very cool. That way we don't have to go hunting around for smilies on other websites.

We have now lifted the smilie limit altogether and have also enabled incorporating graphics into your signatures. You can go smilie-crazy now!
