    Floor Surface for Cardio Suggestions

Hi... Check out greatmats.com...several people here (including myself) have been using these. I love them. I do my cardio in a room with tile floor, and these have been a lifesaver. Home Depot sells the same type of thing a bit cheaper, but it's just called something other than greatmats...

    Cathe~fun thread

Just had to comment on one of Donna's difficult moves...the first time I heard Cathe say "box lunges" I thought she said "boxed lunches", so even now, when she calls for that move, I start thinking about food.

    Found non-aspartame diet soft drinks!

I did a search of Cathe's open discussion forum, and found the following from March 2002. I'll copy and paste it at the end of this post. My husband gets excruciating headaches when he drinks anything with Aspartame. To find out about Splenda, go to Splenda.com Who knows, maybe someday...

    Found non-aspartame diet soft drinks!

I've read lots of posts from people who are concerned about the effects of aspartame, some people get physically ill from it. I've found that Diet Rite is sweetened with Splenda, and it's not bad! What are realy good though are the Diet Hansen's, which are sweetened with Splenda, too. They...

    Decaffeinating is horrible

Your legs may hurt..... My husband went cold turkey off of caffeine a few years ago. He used to need to have caffeine before bed in order to not wake up with a headache. He figured he was too addicted, and just flat out quit. A few weeks afterward, his legs began to hurt...he said it felt...

    Please help me

Thanks Colette! Great websites! I just cannot imagine that I will ever be able to be still for even 15 minutes to meditate. This inability to just relax and do nothing has contributed to the failure of my marriage, which hit me like a ton of bricks. My husband wants out, isn't "in love" with...

    Please help me

Hi... I am in desperate need of suggestions as to a good videotape to buy for meditation. My world is crumbling around me, and I am feeling very anxious and overwhelmed. My therapist wants me to replace some of the time I spend working out (which became an obsession) with meditation and deep...

    Calorie Content Warning/Bars, Shakes, etc.

Patricia... Hi Patricia... I think the bar that you mention has in ittybitty print on the label somewhere that it contains glycerin and is not counted as a carb and therefore the calories are more than what is stated on the bar. Veronica

    Calorie Content Warning/Bars, Shakes, etc.

Wow! This post really caught my interest and I did a little websurfing. There's an interesting article at www.consumerlab.com/results/nutbars.asp that discusses the fact that glycerine isn't included in the calculation of carbs by many of the makers of these bars. Here's a quote: "The most...

    Should I get CTX?

RE: Yes Thanks, Annette! The whoosh you hear is me whipping out my credit card! I think these might be just the thing for me. Lots of people enjoy creating routines, figuring out how to mix up their workouts, but I think CTX is perfect for me at this point in time, since I won't have to think...

    Should I get CTX?

Hi Everyone! I've been working out with Cathe videos for well over a year, and like what's been happening with my body. I am close to what I would like to weigh (within 5 lbs), and I know I could get there if I would clean up my eating. I work out about 5 days a week, doing either cardio or...

    Rhythmic Step

I love Rhythmic Step. Took a few tries to get the choreography down, but now I can do most of it without tripping up. I crank up the volume because I love the music and I just go for it! Puts me in a great mood! Veronica

    Step Works or Power Max???

Those are both my favorites. I don't think that you could go wrong with either of them. Lots of great choreography, and my heart rate stays up the whole time for both of them. I have so much fun with them both that the time flies by. I am trying very hard to suggest one of them for you, but...

    Cramps

Hi! I posted a question about cramps in my calf a while ago, but I can't find it when I do a search. I often get them, but a few weeks ago, I had one so bad that my husband had to try to massage it out of my calf. I got it when I was stretching out after PS SL&A...right after doing the...

Combining Upper Body in PS ...(and S&H?)

I always combine both upper body PS tapes in one day. I do one warm up and one cool down. I usually do the CST tape first, just to get the stinkin' push-ups out of the way! :) I'm not sure how long it takes to do both this way, but I don't think it's more than an hour and 15min or so. Veronica
