    Step Blast

I honestly think that Step Blast is one of the hardest tapes I've ever done! In a good way, though. ;) I've been sporadic with my workouts, and although I did get the choreography down by the second time (almost), I couldn't believe how intense this one was. SB is definitely one that will...

    Compromising Results because of Food!

Thanks SO much, ladies! I really appreciate all of your feedback, suggestions and commiserations. I'm going to print this thread out and definitely look it over when I'm having a craving and I just ate a meal that should have been enough. When I was eating a HUGE salad everyday with the...

    Compromising Results because of Food!

I've been very sporadic with my workouts lately, and just recently returned to Cathe's CTX series (that one ALWAYS gets me back on track) this week. The problem is, I'm always famished. I eat a yogurt with dates and nuts in the morning (just an example of the very few foods that sit well with...

Got em' and won't let them go.....

Hi, Debbie! I agree, I love to see the detailed transit information, i.e. time, place, etc. It is great to see exactly where they are in the U.S. at that time, and it's updated so frequently, you can find out just about where they are at any time of day. And I agree, it's kinda silly, but a...

    ctx results

I'm going to have to check out Jillybean's rotation, but I've always used one of the CTX tapes each day of the week, with one day off and have gotten great results. I've done at least 4 rotations of about 3-4 weeks each time and have seen quicker results than with any other series of tapes I...

Got em' and won't let them go.....

If I were at work, I would probably be doing the same thing! ;) Mine are scheduled for delivery on 10/28, and I check the status on UPS daily just to see their transit destinations.. Kris :)

    IMAX vs. IMAX 2

Hi, Kathy! Kathy, what a sweet thing to say, thanks so much! I haven't been exercising for awhile now (just getting back to it) so I'm so thankful to have this forum to come to to get the inspiration I need from all of you (that's the only thing that has helped me in the past - I've gained...

    IMAX vs. IMAX 2

I've never been able to make it through IMAX without modifications of some sort, but can make it through IMAX2 as it's done by Cathe. I find them both fun, but enjoy IMAX2 much more because I CAN get through it. :) Kris

    Just under the wire, whew......

Ditto to that! I ordered JUST in time, and am eagerly awaiting these vids! (already jotting down rotations that I will most likely change several times before I get the videos). Kris :)

Do I need the 14" High Step If I am only 5'4?

RE: Do I need the 14 I'm only 5'2" and I use the 14 inch step, but did use a 12.5 inch (homemade) step for several years before I switched. I'm short-waisted and somewhat long-legged for my size, since there is a 90 degree angle when I place my foot on the 14 inch step, and I've had no...

    Bootcamp!!!

BC is one of the most challenging workouts IMO (Circuit Max, BodyMax and IMAX are also up there). I don't have the DVD option, but I do use the video as is, and I'm totally winded. I also use the heaviest weights possible, but the circuit aspect of one minute cardio, one minute lower, one...

    where everyone lives ?

Hi - I live about 5 minutes outside of Houston, TX. I was born in Illinois (Arlington Heights), moved when I was 8 to Charlotte, NC and then moved to Texas when I was 11, so I've lived here for 26 years now. Kris

    IMAX

I'd like to know if anyone who has Interval Max (the original) for several years and has done it many, many times still cannot get through it without modifications? I can do IMAX2 with no problems (on a 4 inch step) or breaks, but IMAX slays me! I find it incredibly tough, and even though I've...

    IMAX2 is Magic

I TOTALLY agree with you. It's as if the intensity, the music, the synchronization all builds to a crescendo and then it's over (I can't believe how time flies in this one). This is one my favorite workouts, I just can't seem to get enough of IMAX2 and C&W. And I can eat anything I want if...

    Pyramid upper is so deceptive

I am completely humbled by this tape. I think it's one of the hardest upper body tapes I own, and I really need to put it into my rotations more often. Kris

    Francine's various rotations

Francine, I just wanted to thank you so much for posting your rotations here - I've copied and pasted them into Word for later use in Excel for quick referece. I usually just pick a video (I have 97% of Firm vids, all of Cathe's and a bunch of Tae Bo's and other videos) and do it according to...

Ever pull out one of Cathe's older cardios......

I know what you mean! I've also been concentrating on the IS series for months, and haven't done one of Cathe's step tapes in awhile, but every time I do one (no matter which one it is!), it's always a challenge. BTW, I have only ever used 2 risers, and that works just fine with my. My HR...

Connie, you look absolutely gorgeous! You've worked hard, and it's certainly paid off! :)

    COR BLIMEY ! GUVNOR !......

I haven't done this one in a year or more, and even then, I think I stopped before completion. But all of you are making me want to put this one on my rotation for this week -- I've been doing BootCamp, IMAX2 and C&W so much that maybe I can get through it now? Let's hope so, 'cuz this one...

    Cathe Gear Coming Soon!

I think everything that's worn in the Intensity Series is exactly what I would love to see being sold. I'd also like to see baby doll tee's (a little bit above belly button and V or scoop neck) and just about everything else you mentioned, IN PETITE. :) Thanks, Cathe! Kris
