There's a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I fell this morning (I slipped and fell going down the stairs) my doctor wanted me to come in to the office.

My first ultrasound wasn't scheduled until next Thursday, 12/6. But, they asked me to come in today for ultrasound to check things out because of me falling. I was so nervous and thought maybe it would be too early to see a heartbeat.

I was about to throw up because flashbacks from last year were all in my head. Then, I saw my little bean and the heartbeat. http://www.kittenheadlounge.com/images/smilies/hoorah.gif The doctor goes, "There's a little person in there..see?" I'm right on track and the doc said it was very good at 160-170 beats per minute. http://www.kittenheadlounge.com/images/smilies/heart.gif

I can't tell you all how relieved I am. http://www.kittenheadlounge.com/images/smilies/faint.gif I can breathe now.

Fantastic news, Dani!!!! There is nothing like this feeling of utter relief. I have experienced several miscarriages, so I know the feeling of seeing that little heartbeat on the first ultrasound. I am very happy for you and your baby!

Keep us posted on all the upcoming events of this pregnancy!

Dani,

Great news. I didn't know what to say for your previous post, (the "Y" chromosone thing again). I'm glad things are looking up for you.

No more break dancing!

dani, that is wonderful! it is so reassuring to see a heartbeat. hope this puts your mind at ease and lets you relax a tad - easier said than done, i know, how are you feeling otherwise?

Thank you ! I'm feeling good. Just really tired all the time and a bit moody *blush*, but otherwise I'm great. :D :D

Oh Dani I am SOOOOOO relieved to see that!!! Agree - no more falls please! I knew you weren't scheduled till the 6th, so I was able to exhale when I saw your news! So glad. Keep taking care of you and the little one inside (we always named our kids in utero... we had Bruno, Thor and Spike! HA) Sending on-going thoughts and prayers your way.

Hi Dani,

I'm glad to hear that things are okay, falls can be sooo scary!! I had one big one at the beginning of my 3rd trimester but was able to brace myself with hands and knees. I can't imagine a fall down stairs, yikes!

I hope the rest of the pregnancy is smooth sailing and full of good health. Keep us posted!

Well, praise God!

I actually was thinking that today was the 6th (in error) and had checked to see if you'd had your appointment and here is such good news. I'll continue to pray for you.

Dani..

What else did your ultrasound say yesterday??? :)

You can't beat 160-170 bpm in your sixth week! So excited for you! :D

That everything was well and the size was right on track.
I had another ultrsound Thursday and the baby grew and everything's great. I got a picture this time! Want to see my little peanut?
The baby is on the right hand side of the circle.
